На МФМ-2026 студенческие творческие коллективы Московского Политеха показали иностранным участникам фестиваля театрализованное шоу «Путешествие иностранца в России» — историю о знакомстве с Россией, рассказанную с помощью музыки, хореографии и мультимедийных решений
▫️ В основе сюжета лежит история иностранца Эмеону Годсгифт Даберечукву из Нигерии, который приезжает в Россию к своей подруге. Герои отправляются в путешествие по регионам страны, где знакомятся с песнями, танцами, обрядами и историями различных субъектов Российской Федерации
▫️ A Foreigner’s Journey in Russia!
At IFY-2026, student creative ensembles from Moscow Polytechnic University presented to the festival’s foreign participants a theatrical show, “A Foreigner’s Journey in Russia”— a story of discovering Russia, told through music, choreography and multimedia solutions
▫️ The plot is based on the story of a foreigner, Emeonu Godsgift Daberchukwu from Nigeria, who comes to Russia to visit his friend. The characters set off on a journey through the country’s regions, where they become acquainted with the songs, dances, rituals and stories of various constituent entities of the Russian Federation

Lors du IFY-2026, les troupes artistiques étudiantes de l'Université Polytechnique de Moscou ont présenté aux participants étrangers du festival un spectacle théâtralisé intitulé « Le voyage d'un étranger en Russie » — une histoire de la découverte de la Russie, racontée à travers la musique, la chorégraphie et des solutions multimédia
▫️ L'intrigue s'inspire de l'histoire d'un étranger, Emeonu Godsgiht Daberechukwu, originaire du Nigeria, qui vient en Russie rendre visite à son amie. Les personnages entreprennent un voyage à travers les régions du pays, où ils découvrent les chansons, les danses, les rites et les récits de diverses entités constitutives de la Fédération de Russie

Apple Feast of the Savior is the folk name for the Orthodox holiday of the Transfiguration of the Lord. On this day, believers have apples and other fruits of the new harvest blessed in church. The holiday is also associated with the end of summer and the beginning of the autumn season.
📌 Why is it celebrated on August 19?
In Orthodox tradition, this day is dedicated to the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ — an event described in the Gospels. That is why the date of the holiday is fixed on August 19.
📌 Where did the holiday come from?
In Rus', the church holiday eventually merged with folk traditions related to the harvest. People brought apples, grapes, and other fruits to the church, gave thanks for the harvest, and treated their loved ones to them.
Apple Feast of the Savior reminds us of simple joys: the generosity of nature, family warmth, and the opportunity to share good things with others. ▫️

La fête des pommes, appelée en russe « Iablodchny Spas », est le nom populaire de la fête orthodoxe de la Transfiguration du Seigneur. 📎 В этот день принято освящать мёд в церкви, угощать им близких и готовить различные медовые блюда. Считается, что именно к середине августа пчёлы начинают приносить первый созревший мёд нового урожая
💡 Интересный тренд: если близкая родственница намажет подошву незамужней девушки медом, та вскоре выйдет замуж. Обряд якобы должен помочь незамужним девушкам привлечь женихов, чтобы те «липли» к ним, как мёд к полу

On August 14, Russia celebrates Honey Spas — a traditional folk-Orthodox holiday associated with the beginning of the honey harvest
📎 On this day, it is customary to bless honey in church, treat loved ones to it, and prepare various honey-based dishes. It is believed that it is precisely by mid-August that bees begin to bring in the first ripe honey of the new harvest
💡 An interesting custom: if a close female relative smears honey on the sole of an unmarried girl's foot, she will soon get married. The ritual is supposedly meant to help unmarried girls attract suitors so that they "stick" to them like honey to the floor
🩵 Le Sauveur du Miel — le premier des trois Sauveurs d'août !
Le 14 août, on célèbre en Russie le Sauveur du Miel — une fête traditionnelle à la fois populaire et orthodoxe, liée au début de la récolte du miel
📎 Ce jour-là, il est de coutume de bénir le miel à l'église, d'en offrir à ses proches et de préparer divers plats à base de miel. On considère que c'est vers la mi-août que les abeilles commencent à rapporter les premiers miels mûrs de la nouvelle récolte
💡 Une tendance intéressante : si une proche parente enduit la plante des pieds d'une jeune fille célibataire avec du miel, celle-ci se mariera sous peu. Cette coutume est censée aider les jeunes filles non mariées à attirer les prétendants, pour que ceux-ci « collent » à elles comme le miel au sol
