So story time , last year there was this hackathon hosted by google and awaki and i went holding nothing but my introduction to c++ knowledge from being a first year, i made a school management system , all a console application meanwhile everyone made full website / mobile apps. and when i saw that i started learning figma to make some illustrations of what its supposed to look like once i figure out how the fuck to make GUI with c++ so i made the illustrations and put it into power point in the right order uk , home page then auth page then user page and so on , and during the demonstration i pretended that it was actually a web app and like i was actually pressing buttons and i got second place without them even asking to see the actual code or functionality , all it took was a bunch of slides . hackathons are nothing but a scam for advertisers and your hard work rarely gets considered or even gets a second look as long as it looks good . and youll never know until you try , so just go for it

Let me get back to my tech ways the food getting spammed lol Yesterday i worked on a Flask project creating endpoints for my Text-To-Speech generator and this end point receives the text its supposed to speak in the body , and creates a wav file , encodes it into a string (base64) and returns it as a JSON and the device that made a call has a receiving function that reconstructs back the audio file from the string It was so fun to see that you can send audio as a string and it will litteralty rebuild it the same way you sent it , same pace same everything there wasn't anything lost And it was an almost instant transfer across device since sending a string takes less time than sending the actual audio file And as a long time JS developer who has only used flask a few times i gotta say And maybe its because i am more comfortable with python than JS but FLASK > EXPRESS
