| 6 |  Extended is Migrating to Arc
Extended is migrating its settlement network to @Arc, the Layer 1 blockchain purpose-built by Circle for financial markets. Arc launched on 16 September with BlackRock, DTCC, ICE, Visa and Mastercard among its founding validators.
For Extended users, this means three tangible improvements over the short and long term:
1. Better infrastructure: trades settle on Arc, with sub-second finality and stablecoin-denominated fees that make costs predictable.
2. More to trade: broader real-world asset coverage and deeper liquidity across spot and perpetual markets.
3. A more durable platform: Tier 1 institutional engagement that strengthens Extended's ability to grow and deliver over the long term.
What This Means for You
Settlement moves to Arc during the week of 19 October 2026. Precise timing will be shared closer to the date. Trading will continue through the migration. Your account, sub-accounts, positions, orders, history, points and keys carry across unchanged, unless you hold more than $1 of USDT or wBTC in a sub-account and take no action by the deadline.
If you hold more than $1 of USDT or wBTC in any sub-account, each asset must be converted or withdrawn by 12:00 UTC on 19 October 2026, since neither asset exists on Arc.
Convert in-app to USDC or cirBTC at 1:1 plus a 0.50% premium paid by Extended and no swap fees. The premium will be credited to your account within 8 hours after the migration. One approval in the app covers both assets and every sub-account, but you will retain the ability to withdraw either asset until the migration begins. As of 16:00 UTC today, deposits of both assets are disabled.
For all other users, no action is needed. ETH balances convert automatically 1:1 to wETH on Arc.
Things to Know
• The migration is planned with no interruption to trading.
• Deposits and withdrawals will be paused for up to approximately 2 hours during the migration process. Make sure that open positions are comfortably margined. Transfers between sub-accounts will continue to operate.
• USDC migrates as native USDC, ETH migrates 1:1 as wETH, and Vault/XVS balances and withdrawal rights are preserved.
• If you’re holding USDT or wBTC worth more than $1 in a sub-account and miss the deadline, your whole account will be restricted while Extended processes it. During that time, standard liquidation rules continue to apply and you will not be able to add margin or close positions. Positions in the sub-accounts where USDT or wBTC is worth more than $1 at the deadline will be closed at the mark price at the time of processing with no fee, open orders cancelled, and the assets returned to your login wallet on Starknet or Ethereum. Extended will cover withdrawal and network fees and add $5 in ETH for onward transfers on Ethereum.
