⏰ Set times for Sunday ⏰ livwutang joins our fundraising event this weekend, alongside a packed schedule at Niemetzstraße and Prince Charles in Berlin. ☀️ The full line-up is now revealed for Sunday’s party over at Prince Charles. We've got a great production being set up already in the courtyard, plus food (Roti Mami) and ice cream stalls (JustIce) also added. Tickets here. Groove For Good is a new project from ChariTea, supporting Refuge Worldwide's community and educational projects with a party on our behalf.

🔎 SPY Story: Training against disinformation through storytelling! In collaboration with Arts of the Working Class (AWC) and Energie-Alternative in Palermo, we have been developing SPY STORY, a project that invites young adults (18 -35) to push back against disinformation through the art of storytelling. Apply now for podcasting or zine making workshops here, deadline 20th August. Workshops will be hosted in Berlin during early September. More information on our website.

🎹 As part of our Unity In The Community programme, the music production studio at Niemetzstrasse 1 is available to book daily (Mon-Sat) for no € charge. The studio comes fully equipped so you don't need to bring anything, but feel free to hook up whatever you like into the existing system. Suitable for podcasts, recording vocals, learning a new instrument, or working on your music. Free sessions are twice a day, 2.5hrs. Please note we add more open sessions each month - if you can’t find a suitable slot, you can check back again next week. 💛 New music Monday We've released a new EP on the Refuge Worldwide in-house label, "Revolution At Dawn", by Ghanaian poet, writer and curator Mr. Poetivist. A spontaneous freestyled poem dedicated to the people of Sudan recorded in our studio at Niemetzstraße has been reworked by four artists, NikNak, Ivano Tetelepta, Myles Morgan, and gugol maps. All proceeds from the EP sales will be sent to Sudanese American Physicians Association, a charity working to enhance healthcare access, deliver medical aid and foster community resilience during wartime in Sudan. 📡 Ron Trent, CARISTA, Sofia Kourtesis and more will play a fundraiser for Refuge Worldwide on Sunday 2nd August. ChariTea are launching Groove For Good this summer, a new fundraising series geared toward helping grassroots and non-profit platforms around the world. The first edition will be in Berlin, and they’ve kindly offered to support Refuge Worldwide's community and educational projects with a party on our behalf. We’ve curated a line-up featuring house legends, friends of the station, and long-time radio residents. There will also be an unannounced set from a pioneering American musician, vocalist, producer, DJ, and graphic artist. 📌 We are collating a list of fundraising links for groups in Venezuela after the devastating double earthquake. Please reach out on hello@refugeworldwide.com with suggestions to be included. This Thursday at Niemetzstraße there will also be a fundraiser for community-based initiatives in the Democratic Republic of Congo, hosted by Refuge Worldwide team member gugol maps as part of the new Centinela series.

We are hosting a special concert from dreamcastmoe at Tresor's Globus floor, as part of the BÜRO SIEBZIG 2026 season in August (Wednesday 26th). dreamcastmoe - producer, singer, songwriter, drummer, photographer, DJ and close friend of Refuge Worldwide will perform live in Germany for the first time in 2026. The BS26 concert series takes place on the Globus Stage, every Wednesday from 21h - 23h. Gig tickets and season passes are now available via RA. We are very excited to welcome dreamcastmoe (Peoples Potential Unlimited / Future Times) back to Europe!

🎤 Applications are now open for an 8-week podcast academy hosted by Refuge Worldwide's Unity In The Community platform in collaboration with Shure. The course will run weekly Monday evenings at our Niemetzstraße space, beginning on July 7th, with mentorship from a range of experts. Applications are open until June 23rd and we will contact successful candidates around June 26th. Good luck!
