☀️ Not long until our Free Open Air for 1st May in Berlin. A couple of key details below: - Doors are 12:00 - 22:00, set times will follow in the next days. - There will be just one queue for everyone and it is first-come-first-to-enter, so please try to come early if possible. If there is a big queue later in the day, keep an eye here via Telegram where we will communicate updates on this. - Food vendors on site are Sabor A Mi and Roti Mami. - The Berliner Berg Beer Garten is family friendly as it has a lower volume, the Beach stage does not. - The bars and food trucks accept cash and card, however, please bring some cash because each person will be asked for a 2€ donation on entry, split between the event staff and Berlin-based grassroots groups operating in the areas of workers rights and the labour movement. 🎤 RSVP here for an evening dedicated to Musical Collaboration. Shaw Cain and LIL JA will play some music before and after a conversation from Perera Elsewhere, Ebow, Fella, and DJ Spit & Mathias Ruffing, celebrating cross-genre collaboration in music. There is food on the house from Antilles NY and some complimentary drinks. Spaces are limited - Thursday 30th 7pm @ Niemetzstraße.

This weekend at Niemetzstraße... Friday evening sees Haram Night drop by from 18:00 for delicious Turkish street food, a workshop on grassroots events and three hours of music by Anatolian crew Mx. ✨ On 24th April, Sources: Label Soft Launch will be hosted at Niemetzstraße 1. There will be a live performance from BRUX, a sound healing session with Jesso, and Pooja B closing the evening with a DJ set. BOUCHE kombucha or a warm tea will be available for early arrivals. 🎙 This evening sees a new event series from OMAR KTD, "Pop Questions", launching at Niemetzstraße from 18:00-22:00. This edition explores Queer Pop in a panel-concert format with FAYIM and OMAR KTD, moderated by Jowe Harfouche — moving between conversation and live music, between reflection and feeling. Afterwards, we’ll drift into DJ set by SXCL. This event is collecting donations for the Queer Mutual Aid Lebanon. 🎬 On Tuesday evening this week, The Left Berlin Film Club will screen "Sudan, Remember Us" at Niemetzstraße. The film will be followed by a Q&A with the director, Hind Meddeb (online), and a representative from Sudan Uprising. Free to attend, RSVP required.
