Nifty 50
Details:
- Nifty witnessed a volatile session but recovered sharply after testing the key support zone of 23,150–23,160. Strong buying at lower levels helped the index close above 23,400, indicating continued resilience despite near-term uncertainty closing at 23405.60 down by -0.33%.
- Resistance is positioned at 23700, with immediate support at 23,150.
Bank Nifty
Details:
- Bank Nifty staged a strong recovery after finding support near 53,000. The index rebounded over 2% from its intraday low, reflecting sustained buying interest in banking stocks and keeping the short-term trend constructive closing at 54185.95 up by 0.88%.
- Resistance is marked at 54,500 with vital support at 53,000.
Midcap and Smallcap
Details:
- Nifty Midcap traded in a narrow range for most of the session before witnessing recovery from intraday lows in the second half. Despite closing marginally lower by 0.64%, buying interest near support zones indicates underlying strength in the broader market. Nifty Smallcap also witnessed profit booking during the first half; however, strong recovery in the latter half helped the index trim most of its losses and close marginally lower by 0.11%.
