| 2 | Texas declares Diesel Emergency (joining Louisiana)
Gov. Abbott signed an emergency declaration regarding the price of diesel:
“Texas agriculture and freight run on diesel,” Abbott wrote in a statement. “Record prices put both industries at risk and raise costs for every Texas family. Farmers and truckers can now use dyed diesel on Texas roads, and fuel, crop, and timber loads can move at a higher weight. These steps cut costs on the farm, on the road and at the store.”
What's odd is that the tax is not waived. You're free to use the red-dyed diesel, but still have to keep track of the tax they WOULD be paying, and remit payment. So this really provides very little relief ...

| 10 | UK to Ration Diesel and Reduce Speed Limits.
"Contingency plans held by government to help the country cope with potential shortages of diesel could be put back on the table as prices at the pump hit a record high this weekend."
As I'd said last week, countries like the UK are now implementing the IEA recommendations from March are being implemented now that the diesel crisis is hitting.
This IS the point of the war, whether you call it "energy lockdowns", COVID2.0, or just Agenda 2030 — it's again rolling forward by virtue of this engineered crisis.
