4. Proceed to any CBT Center and inform the registration officer that you've made corrections.

JAMB ISSUES WARNING AGAINST NOCTURNAL REGISTRATION PRACTICES
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has become aware of the concerning trend of nocturnal (nighttime) registration of prospective candidates for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) by certain registration centres.
While JAMB appreciates the enthusiasm of these centers to accommodate as many candidates as possible, this should never come at the cost of the candidates’ personal safety and security.
In light of this, JAMB provides clarity and issues a stern warning to the centres listed below, as well as any others that may consider engaging in similar practices, to immediately cease these activities.
The centres involved in the nocturnal registration are:
1. Thomas Adewumi University, University Drive Off Oko-Idofin Road, Oko, Kwara State
2. CBT Centre Otukpo, 14 Federal Road, Otukpo, Benue State
3. Ebenezer International School, No. 23 Barry White Street, Near MTN Mast, Pipeline Rumukwurusi, Elimgbu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State
4. Jigawa State College of Education, Gumel Centre 1, Kano Road, Gumel, Jigawa State
5. Lafiagi Emirate Information Technology & Innovation Hub, Opposite Main Motor Park, Emir’s Road, Lafiagi, Kwara State
6. Zulqud Consult Ltd (ZCL CBT Center), Government Secondary School, Lugbe By Car Wash, Lugbe Bridge
7. Klinnicapps Academy, Old Imaje Road, Formerly Christian Secondary Commercial School, Okuku, Yala, Cross River State
8. Sani Mikaila Comprehensive College, Plot 34 Rikkos New Layout, Jos, Plateau State

This publication serves as a final warning to these centres, as no further notices will be issued before JAMB takes decisive action to address this issue.
JAMB will not tolerate any violations of the regulations governing the registration process and will take appropriate measures against any centre engaged in questionable or exploitative practices during this exercise.
The Board remains committed to monitoring the registration process to ensure strict adherence to all guidelines, thereby safeguarding the integrity of the exercise and promoting fairness and equity in the registration process.
JAMB urges centres to prioritize the well-being of our nation’s youth over mere profit margins.

The government has decided to merge Junior Secondary School (JSS) and Senior Secondary School (SSS) into a single, uninterrupted 12-year basic education program. This means the old 6-3-3-4 system, where students spent six years in primary school, three in JSS, three in SSS, and four in university, is being replaced with a 12-4 system.*

*THINGS CANDIDATES SHOULD DO AFTER JAMB REGISTRATION*
After JAMB registration, candidates often want to know what next they are expected to do. The purpose of this post is to let UTME candidates know a couple of things they are expected to do after their JAMB registration.
Before we get into other things you are expected to do, the major thing you are expected to do now is simple. You should now study as much as you can. Try and cover the topics on the JAMB syllabus for your selected subjects.
Other things UTME candidates are expected to do after JAMB registration
*Exam date and any possible changes:* JAMB can change the dates of the exam or other aspects of the exam at any time. That has been the case in previous years. So it is advisable for candidates to stay updated as to know when any change like that has been made and print
*Printing of the JAMB exam slip*: The JAMB exam slip shows candidates the date of their exam, the centre, and the time of the exam. JAMB will announce an official date for candidates to print their exam slips.
*Link your email address to your JAMB profile:*
Candidates will be required to link their email addresses after the closure of JAMB registration. This is to enable them to login to the JAMB portal and the JAMB CAPS and be able to use services like change of course and institution, checking of admission status, etc.

*JAMB DIRECT ENTRY*
*1:* JAMB DE stands for Direct Entry
*2:* Only students who already had a degree from any University or Polytechnics in Nigeria can apply for this.
*3:* Direct Entry Students can also Apply for JAMB UTME if they want.
*4:* Admission is straight to 200 level in any University once admitted
*JAMB UTME*
*1:* JAMB UTME stands for Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination
*2:* Students with a diploma, just O’ level certificate are qualified for this Exam.
*3:* JAMB UTME students (students with just credits in O’ level (WAEC, NECO or NABTEB) can only apply for UTME and not DE.
*4:* Admission is to 100 level once admitted.
