The Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, has issued a circular dated 24 July 2026 announcing the preparatory schedule for GDS Online Engagement Schedule-II (July 2026).
*Key highlights:*
27 July – 3 August 2026: Re-verification of educational boards and vacancy capturing by postal divisions.
4–5 August 2026: Verification of captured vacancies by postal circles.
Detailed recruitment notification: Will be released separately after completion of the preparatory process.
According to the circular, the recruitment will include:
Vacancies arising between 1 January and 30 June 2026 due to resignation, transfer, promotion, discharge, etc.
Unfilled vacancies from the January 2026 GDS recruitment, where posts remain vacant | 599 |
