A short break from my usual art posting and sharing to address something serious. Names are omitted for privacy reasons. If you know, you know. Don't message me asking for specifics and names The last couple of years I've been watching a good friend of mine get stalked and harassed by a small group of people who once called them a friend and claim to be politically aligned with mutual interests. This has gone well above and beyond simple hatred/dislike and right into psycho territory, including doxxing and mocking their family members both living and deceased as well as spreading completely fabricated accusations based on loose former associations. I want this to be clear: I've never known this person to be anything but a good and loyal friend to me and engaged in honest business dealings. I don't care how cringe someone was years ago. It doesn't matter. People grow. I can not say the same of the people engaging in this harassment, doxxing, and stalking campaign. Among them is someone caught red-handed stealing the original art of others to print on poor quality shirts and someone who left me hanging on a commission job they allowed me to complete before eventually canceling. So... I want it to be clear, if you are an individual engaging in this, we are not friends. You clearly either have too much time on your hands or your children are paying for your obsession with the time and mental energy you owe to them. And if ever you find yourself with the target on your back, I hope it forces you into some self awareness. With friends like these, who needs enemies? Now if you'll excuse me, I have a huge lawn to mow, weights to lift, photography to do, and a grubby goblin to wrangle.

I hope you're all having a nice Father's Day weekend. Father's Day and Mother's Day aren't great days over here, so I wish I had something more touching or inspirational to say, but I genuinely wish you great dads out there a lovely weekend.

A very Blessed '26 Summer Solstice, everyone. ❤️ While looking for a nice picture to go along with this post, I came across this very cool 7th century Frankish belt fitting that's going right into my symbolic inspiration folder. 😎

I have acquired more mini medallions... in different sizes. 👀

I will be taking that bronze age dagger one, thank you very much.

☀️ Bronze Age Summer ☀️ I. Lunar Necklace with Gold Sheen Obsidian - inspired by archaeological finds of spiral jewelry in Güttingen and Irish gold lunulae of the European Bronze Age, with my own twist. II. Zierscheibe Necklace with Black Spinel - inspired by the openwork ornamental discs worn by women in Central Europe from the Late Bronze Age to the Early Middle Ages. III. Garnet Daggers Necklace - inspired by spiral discs and dagger charms seen in European Bronze Age brooches. All three can be found here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/LupineWays

Bronze Age Summer continues with some lapis lazuli and knotwork pendants! This layered necklace sits right on the throat and cascades to just below the collarbone ᵕ̈ I also went back to my roots for a bit with these super sweet lace and cat eye glass earrings, which are not Bronze Age at all but are indeed super sweet 🥰🌸🌷

Обычно я избегаю использование бисера в подобных вышивках, но не в этот раз. Я думала, куда можно применить эти золотые чешские бусины, а потом мне на глаза попалась брошь викингов IX–XI веков и я решила вышить что-то похожее. I usually avoid using beads in embroidery like this, but not this time. I didn’t know where I could use these golden Czech beads, and then I saw this 9th–11th century Viking brooch and decided to embroider something similar.

Just discovered that our big old overgrown garden beds in the back of the property are full of wild blackberry bushes. Looks like I've got some motivation to clear out the ugly baby trees and weeds now!
