sometimes the most fucking disappointing things happen for a reason. not because they’re meant to lead u somewhere better, but because life needs to fucking teach u that not everything u hope for is meant to happen. some disappointments dont make u stronger or happier—they just hurt, leave a fucking scar, and force u to accept that sometimes things simply dont turn out the way u wanted. and honestly, that fucking sucks. but maybe thats the miracle: realizing u can be disappointed as hell and still keep going. sometimes u dont need another fucking lesson—u just need time. time to sit with the disappointment, the anger, the guilt, and the fucking mess you've become inside your own head. u start hating yourself for every wrong decision, every expectation, every moment you wish u could take back. then one day, you're so fucking exhausted from fighting your own mind that you stop feeling anything. u dont cry. u dont get angry. you dont even care enough to be disappointed anymore. you're just fucking numb. and the worst part? nobody can magically pull you out of that. no pretty words, no “everything happens for a reason,” no bullshit about becoming stronger. sometimes all u can do is let time pass while u slowly learn how to exist with the parts of yourself u fucking hate. maybe healing isnt becoming the person u were before. maybe its learning to live without constantly punishing yourself for not being okay. because some days you're still a mess, some days u still feel empty, and some days u fucking hate everything about yourself. but you're still here. and maybe, for now, that's enough.
