“When winter storms and darkness banish the children into the house, they want to record everything from their memories, to record everything they have experienced. In this way, the current year comes to life for you once again in the sun, moon, stars, plants and animals. The boys, however, would like to learn more about the experiences of our hard-working soldiers in the war. So it doesn't really matter whether it's a nice picture; if we want to have fun, let's draw.”

I commissioned a pair of embroidered earrings and she simply blew me away with her design touches and craftsmanship. I gave her total creative freedom and she did the most perfect, thoughtful job.
She also sent me her Wolfsangel earrings as a Yule gift and I am so thrilled! How wonderful are these!?
I have watched this talented woman grow in talent exponentially over the years. She is well of knowledge, cultural pride and beauty. Keeping sacred handicraft alive. 🪡⚡️
It’s such a special feeling seeing my work worn by another talented artist and good friend. 💞

Folkism in itself prioritizes taking care of and protecting the most vulnerable people (children, the elderly, mothers) within our tribes.
