Small Liberal Arts Colleges (LACs) are the hidden gems of admissions and their application is totally different from Large Research University applications. Most of the colleges I applied were LACs and I learned fast that they care more about FIT than anything else. You can have 1500+ SAT, APs, crazy honors and Rec letters, yet if you don't share the same values and match their vibe, you'll end up REJECTED. Out of all the LACs I applied to, only Bowdoin said yes and I am sure it's mainly because they could imagine me thriving at Bowdoin. Especially, if you are applying ED, financial aid shouldn't be the only thing you care about. Your ED choice is where you'll be spending your next 4 years. So choosing the right college with common values and interests is the most IMPORTANT thing. Comment below which college feels like the right fit for you, and WHY?

Thousands of students in Uzbekistan are talented enough for world-class opportunities. They just never hear about them in time. Competitions. Scholarships. Programs. All real. All here. @YouthGrants

PSG champ, once again

Quick update: The full program with all benefits remains $149/month. However, since many students are rushing to finish SAT before application season, we've opened a SAT-only option for $79/month for those who don't need the additional services. Same instructors, same SAT preparation — just a more focused option for students whose priority is getting their SAT done by the end of summer. DM for details.

It's good to know that I am contributing to spreading awareness about the precious opportunities that many miss. I myself couldn't apply to UWC because I was in the U.S, but I always admired those who did UWC and studied IB. There will be always those who criticize but informing people about these opportunities is something I genuinely enjoy

I don’t know if it’s just for me, but Samarkand became the worst place for travel for me. People I met are sooo unfriendly, restaurants I went in are basically scams and everything is sooo annoying, even traffic lights. Is this just an unlucky coincidence or reality?

If there must be someone who has to take the responsibility for the biggest ups and downs of my life, let it be me!

I realize that taking the first step in everything only leads to more opportunities. I have personally lost so many opportunities, career related or social, just because I hesitated and the chance was gone forever.

Everybody has very distinct preferences and priorities when it comes to university. Personally, I just wanted to go back to the US and continue where I was left off after FLEX ). Where do you want to study:

Facts. You cannot isolate a single extracurricular activity, rec letter or essay that got people into top unis. I believe every component complements each other, revealing the whole picture of the student. So, it’s impossible to just copy a successful case. That’s what makes admissions both painful and interesting.
