We are a student-led initiative under SCOME. Our mission is to bridge the gap between our student aspirations and institutional readiness. We are here to support our college's journey toward international recognition and build a strong foundation for future global licensing pathways (like USMLE, PLAB, and more!). 🎓💼 🎯 What We Do: Support International recognition: Working closely with our college administration to monitor and follow up on international recognition requirements. 3	🔬✨ SCORE LORCAN IS NOW OFFICIALLY ACTIVE! ✨🔬 Dear Lorcan Medical College Students, We are excited to announce the establishment of the Standing Committee on Research Exchange (SCORE) at Lorcan Medical College. 📚 As students in the health sciences, we spend years learning from textbooks, lectures, practical sessions, and clinical experiences. But have you ever wondered where that knowledge comes from? Every treatment guideline, medication, diagnostic tool, and medical breakthrough began with research. 🌍 Whether your future career is in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry, research, education, or another health profession, research plays an important role in improving patient care, advancing medical knowledge, and shaping the future of healthcare. Yet many students have little exposure to research and often see it as something complicated, intimidating, or only meant for experts. 🎯 SCORE was created to change that. Our goal is to make research more accessible, understandable, and engaging for students. We aim to create opportunities for learning, collaboration, skill development, and research exposure, regardless of previous experience. 🤝 SCORE is not only for students who already know research. It is also for students who are curious, eager to learn, and willing to grow. His commitment to advancing medical education and supporting students has left a lasting impact that will be remembered for years to come.
