The point is perpetual striving upwards, beyond humanity, rather than an idealised healthy man as the goal.
He’s a fictional character, that has many Nietzschean qualities. A perfect example of how an actual ubermensch would exist ‘beyond’ humanity.
This isn’t to say he’s the perfect definition of Nietzsche’s doctrines, but he certainly comes closer than anyone in our age. Ultimately my point in the analogy is that the ubermensch exists beyond us, man is the bridge to him - the path, not the goal.
