Le locked-in syndrome (ou syndrome d'enfermement):
Le patient est totalement conscient et alerte, mais il est paralysé des quatre membres et muet. Ses facultés intellectuelles sont intactes et il communique principalement grâce aux mouvements des yeux et des paupières🤚

هذا ما أثار استغراب الكثيرين بعد إصابة اللاعب الكندي إبراهيم كوني.
ذلك الجهاز ليس صفارة عادية، بل يُعرف باسم "الصفارة الخضراء" (Green Whistle)، ويحتوي على مسكن قوي يُدعى Methoxyflurane، يستنشقه المصاب بنفسه، فتصل المادة الدوائية عبر الرئتين إلى مجرى الدم بسرعة، ويبدأ تأثيرها بعد عدد قليل من الأنفاس فقط، مما يساعد على تخفيف الألم الحاد الناتج عن الكسور والإصابات الشديدة.
ويُستخدم هذا الدواء في حالات الطوارئ وبعض الإجراءات الطبية المؤلمة، مع ميزة مهمة جدًا: يبقى المريض واعيًا وقادرًا على الكلام والتواصل مع الطاقم الطبي طوال الوقت.
وبرغم خطورة الكسر الذي تعرّض له اللاعب، لم يظهر عليه الانهيار أو الصراخ الذي يتوقعه كثيرون في مثل هذه الإصابات، بل بدا هادئًا ومتعاونًا مع المسعفين، بفضل التأثير السريع لهذا المسكن القوي. | 309 |

| 4 | La respiration de Cheyne-Stokes:
est un trouble respiratoire caractérisé par une alternance cyclique :
➡️Respiration de plus en plus profonde et rapide (crescendo).
➡️Puis respiration de moins en moins profonde (decrescendo).
➡️Suivie d'une période d'apnée (arrêt respiratoire temporaire).
Le cycle recommence.
On l'observe notamment dans :
⛔️L'insuffisance cardiaque sévère.
⛔️Certaines lésions cérébrales bilatérales ou du diencéphale.(engagement central)
⛔️Les troubles de la conscience (coma).
⛔️Parfois chez les personnes âgées ou en altitude.
