Ukraine recorded the first case of Russian Molniya drones being controlled through a Gerbera drone, presidential adviser Serhii Beskrestnov said. He said both systems use mesh modems operating in the same frequency range and made by the same Chinese manufacturer, but had previously been incompatible due to licensing restrictions. Beskrestnov warned the relay scheme may spread and said destroying the Gerbera should cause the linked Molniyas to fall.
