Latar Belakang.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤRevolusi Prancis merupakan peristiwa besar yang terjadi pada 1789-1799 di Prancis. Revolusi ini mengakhiri sistem feodalisme dan kekuasaan absolut raja, sekaligus memunculkan gagasan baru seperti kebebasan, persamaan, dan persaudaraan yang kemudian memengaruhi perkembangan demokrasi di dunia.
ㅤ𝗜. Revolusi Prancis dimulai dari beberapa faktor, salah satunya adalah faktor Ketidakadilan Sosial. Sebelum revolusi, masyarakat Prancis terbagi menjadi tiga golongan, yakni Kaum gereja (klerus), kaum bangsawan, dan rakyat biasa. Golongan pertama dan kedua memiliki banyak hak istimewa seperti bebas pajak, sedangkan rakyat biasa harus menanggung beban pajak yang berat. Ketimpangan inilah yang akhirnya menimbulkan kemarahan dan ketidakpuasan masyarakat Prancis.
ㅤ𝗜𝗜. Selanjutnya, faktor kedua yang menyebabkan revolusi adalah krisis ekonomi. Pada akhir abad ke-18, kondisi ekonomi Prancis sangat buruk. Negara yang memiliki hutang besar akibat perang dan pengeluaran kerajaan yang tinggi, gagal panen yang menyebabkan harga makanan melonjak tajam, hingga akhirnya rakyat semakin menderita.
ㅤ𝗜𝗜𝗜. Faktor ketiga berasal dari lemahnya kepemimpinan raja. Raja Prancis saat itu adalah Raja Louis XVI. Beliau dianggap tidak mampu mengatasi krisis politik dan ekonomi yang sedang terjadi. Ketidakmampuan pemerintah dalam memperbaiki keadaan itulah yang akhirnya membuat rakyat semakin kehilangan kepercayaan kepada monarki
ㅤ𝗜𝗩. Faktor keempat, dipengaruhi oleh Pemikiran dan Pencerahan. Revolusi juga dipengaruhi oleh ide-ide dari masa Enlightenment Filsuf, seperti:
ㅤㅤㅤㅤ1. Jean-Jacques Rousseau,
ㅤㅤㅤㅤ2. Voltaire, dan
ㅤㅤㅤㅤ3. Montesquieu
Yang mengkritik kekuasaan absolut raja dan menekankan bahwa kekuasaan seharusnya berada di tangan para rakyat. ㅤㅤㅤㅤ

ㅤYupsie! Malam ini, kita akan membahas tentang peristiwa besar yang mengubah cara dunia memandang kebebasan, kesetaraan, dan hak para rakyat. Aku akan membawa kalian kembali ke tahun 1789, ke negara bernama Prancis. Sebuah masa ketika kemarahan rakyat akhirnya meledak menjadi sejarah besar yang kita kenal sebagai “Revolusi Prancis.” Tanpa berlama-lama lagi, ayo kita mulai perjalanan kecil kita ke masa lalu!🕵🏻♀
