The Entry Price Heatmap on the Hyperliquid platform shows the exact levels at which traders opened positions.
Large volumes of long positions were opened in the range of $72,000 - $76,000, and short positions - in the area of $60,000. Currently, both groups of positions are in a loss (underwater), which creates vulnerability to movement in any direction.
The presence of large positions in a loss creates the potential for cascading liquidations both upwards (if the price goes higher and affects the loss-making shorts) and downwards (if the price continues to fall and affects the loss-making longs). This makes the market fragile and increases the likelihood of a sharp movement in the near future. | 13 |
