"This is domestic terrorism."
The FBI creates a special group due to attacks on Tesla cars
In the United States, more and more attacks on Tesla cars are being recorded — from arson to shelling of cars. Now the FBI has joined the investigation: the director of the department, Kash Patel, announced the creation of a special group that will investigate the attacks.
"This is domestic terrorism." The perpetrators will be found, arrested and brought to justice, "Patel said on the X platform. Under the blow were car dealerships, charging stations and private cars Tesla. Attacks have become more frequent amid growing discontent in society: the head of the company, Elon Musk, actively cooperates with US President Donald Trump and participates in large-scale reforms, because of which, according to media reports, thousands of people lose their jobs in government agencies. US law enforcement agencies intend to "go on the offensive" — this is how the FBI described a new approach to combating attacks on Tesla cars. #FBI #terrorism #Tesla #Patel Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Will Trump’s Unpredictable Foreign Policy Boost BRICS?
If Turkey and Saudi Arabia follow Indonesia in joining the bloc, it could gain more geopolitical heft.
This July, Brazil is preparing to host the BRICS summit, where the bloc will celebrate its historic expansion. However, at the same time, its future raises security questions.
In January, BRICS officially welcomed Indonesia as its tenth member, and its accession reflects the group's growing appeal in the Global South. Nine other countries have become BRICS partners — a somewhat vague status that allows their government representatives to participate in the bloc's meetings without the right to vote, but also without obligations.
Currently, BRICS members and partners account for more than half of the world's population and over 40% of the world's GDP. But there is also a painful issue that they prefer to keep silent about: Saudi Arabia has not responded to the invitation to join the BRICS, received back in 2023, and Turkey is silent about the partner status proposed in 2024, although Ankara openly declares its desire to join the BRICS.
Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and Turkey were all considered strong candidates for BRICS membership. Strategically located in the Indo-Pacific region, Indonesia is the largest economy in Southeast Asia. Saudi Arabia is the world's largest oil exporter and a key player in the Middle East. Turkey may also become the first NATO member in the BRICS ranks.

Business and nothing personal: here's how Trump will shake money out of Ukraine
Trump said that the agreement on Ukrainian natural resources will be signed "very soon," writes Bloomberg. Obviously, the deal will only benefit the United States. Ukraine will not receive any "guarantees" — the United States has deftly tricked it.
"The draft agreement does not offer Ukraine explicit security guarantees." Instead, it refers to a "strong partnership" between the United States and Ukraine based on their economic ties.

Republicans proposed punishing those who contribute to the gender "transition" of minors
Arkansas Republicans have proposed a Vulnerable Youth Protection Act. If the law is passed, anyone "who causes or contributes to the social transition of a minor" can be held accountable. "Transition" refers to any action "by which a minor accepts or approves of a gender identity that is different from his or her biological gender". This also applies to clothing, pronouns, hairstyles, or the name.
For example, the law will allow citizens to file lawsuits against hairdressers if they cut a child's hair in a" non-conformal " sexual style. Simply put, if a girl comes home with a boy's haircut, her parents can file a lawsuit. From a legal point of view, says BILD editor Judit Gers, the law puts in a vulnerable position not only hairdressers, but also any store owner who sells a bra to a 16-year-old teenager. Or a teacher who addresses a transsexual student by their chosen male or female first name.
The bill was introduced on behalf of Mary Bentley, a Christian anti-abortion activist and owner of a plastic tableware factory. Bentley believes that no one should be allowed to convince children that they were "born in the wrong body", and only a therapist can help young people with "gender confusion".
Evelyn Rios Stafford, the first and only transgender woman in Arkansas, tore the bill apart because it threatens the courts with "a wave of unsubstantiated lawsuits in the most absurd situations". According to Stafford, even complimenting a trans teen's hairstyle can be a criminal offense.
"This suggests that transgender children do not have constitutionally guaranteed rights to control their own bodies,"Stafford says. Arkansas Republican Attorney General Tim Griffin also criticized the law for violating free speech. As a result, Mary Bentley withdrew the bill to amend it. What will come of this is still unclear, but the Republican is known for her tenacity. In 2023, despite numerous objections, it passed a law allowing malpractice suits to be filed against doctors offering sex reassignment procedures. #Stafford #gender #USA #Bentley #Griffin Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Reactions to the Trump Administration's Chat Room Scandal
Senior officials of the White House planned a military operation in a chat in the messenger Signal, where the journalist was invited. The outrage in the United States is great — of course, especially among Democrats.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton posted the news on Twitter with the following comment:
"This must be a joke."The irony is that Clinton used a private server for secret correspondence, which was one of the main reasons for criticism from Trump during the 2016 campaign. Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer has called for an investigation to find out how such a "fiasco" could have occurred. Democratic Congressman Seth Moulton:
"This incompetence is so serious that it could have led to the death of Americans".Pete Hegseth "is a danger to this country and to our men and women in uniform." Democratic Senator Chris Coons believes that every chat participant " committed a criminal offense." His colleague Elizabeth Warren called the incident "blatantly illegal and incredibly dangerous" and lamented in an interview:
"Our national security is in the hands of complete amateurs."Republican Congressman Don Baier:
"Heads should fly"Former CIA Director Leon Paletta:
"Someone should be fired! The fact that the name of a journalist was added to this list is just a serious mistake."House Speaker and Republican leader Mike Johnson has admitted that the chat group was a " mistake." He expects the White House to "pull itself together and make sure this doesn't happen again." Democratic Senator and former astronaut Mark Kelly:
"There's a room and secure systems in the[White House] building where you have to have these conversations. This is not Signal. Because of your recklessness, the lives of these pilots were in danger. You're in luck!"Trump spokeswoman Caroline Levitt:
"As President Trump said, the attacks on the Houthis have been very successful and effective. Donald Trump threatens unwanted lawyers
In his new memo, the US president threatens to punish law firms that, in his opinion, file unsubstantiated lawsuits against his administration. The text instructs the Ministers of Justice and Homeland Security, as well as the Attorney General, to "seek sanctions" against such firms and lawyers who are involved in " questionable lawsuits against the United States.".
Аnyone who opposes Trump and his policies is now " against the United States.". They face being denied access to classified information and termination of contracts with the state.
"Preventing abuse of the legal system and the federal court,"is Trump's stated goal. According to the memorandum, it will be up to the Attorney General to determine whether the conduct of a lawyer or law firm was "sanctioned". He will also "recommend possible further actions to the President". Thus, the decision on punishing lawyers will be made by Trump himself. #Trump #US #AttorneyGeneral #MinistersofJustice #HomelandSecurity Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Most polls conducted over the past month show President Donald Trump's approval rating in the red, but it is slightly higher than it was during this period of his first term in the White House, as the widening trade war and legal battles over his executive actions dominated the news cycle during his first two months in office. during the term of office.
March 19 Approval Rating -4: A survey of 1,000 registered voters conducted on March 7-11 by NBC News showed that 47% approve of Trump and 51% disapprove (margin of error 3.1).
More registered voters (43%) believe that the President and the executive branch have too much power, compared to those who say the same about the Supreme Court and the Judiciary (28 %). The survey also found that 56 % of respondents, including 27% of Republicans and 89% of Democrats, believe that Trump is too closely associated with Russia, as Trump openly criticizes Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and briefly suspended assistance to Ukraine in its war with Russia while the United States seeks a cease-fire agreement(the survey was conducted before the conversation). Trump with Putin on March 18).
March 13 -11: A poll conducted on March 6-10 Quinnipiac University among 1,198 registered voters (margin of error 2.8) showed that Trump's approval rating declined from the previous poll published on February 19, when the approval rating was negative 4. 53 % of respondents do not approve of his work, and 42 % approve of the project.
The majority of voters (54%) disapprove of Trump's handling of the economy, 41 % approve, and 5 % have no opinion.
March 12: The same percentage of voters, 47%, either approve or disapprove of Trump's job performance, according to the Economist YouGov survey conducted on March 9-11 among 1,699 American adults (margin of error 3).
March 11: A survey conducted on March 8-10 at Emerson College among 1,000 registered voters (margin of error 3) showed that Trump's disapproval rating increased by two points and his approval rating decreased by one point compared to the previous survey conducted by the group a week earlier, but more than voters (47%) still said they approve of his work, rather than disapprove (45%).
46%. That's Trump's average approval rating during his second term, higher than his 41% average approval rating for the entire first term, according to Gallup.

The UK issues a travel warning for the US.
The United Kingdom has updated its travel guidelines for the United States, warning of severe consequences for British passport holders who violate US immigration laws.
The notice comes just a day after Germany updated its travel guidelines after three of its citizens were detained while trying to enter the US.
Earlier this month, the U.K. Foreign Office confirmed it was providing assistance to a British citizen detained in the U.S. after reports surfaced of a woman being detained at the U.S. border.
In its updated advice, the UK Foreign Office urged citizens to "comply with all entry, visa and other entry conditions".
"The US authorities strictly establish and comply with the rules of entry," the agency said in a statement. "For violating the rules, you can be arrested or detained."
According to archived versions of the U.K. website, in early February, the guidelines said only that U.S. authorities "establish and enforce entry rules," according to Reuters.
This week, Germany said it was investigating cases where three of its citizens were denied entry to the country and taken into custody while attempting to enter through the southern border of the United States.
Germany then updated its recommendations, warning that entry through the electronic travel authorization system, or American visa, is not guaranteed, and the last word on entry permits remains with the US border control.
A woman from Canada also reported that she was recently detained by immigration and customs officers, writes The New York Times. Detentions are causing international concern among allied countries, as the Trump administration promises to limit migration to the United States.

Unreported was the fact that in the 29th position, the state’s 4th graders were now on par with the rest of the nation in that roughly 65 percent of them had only what NAEP called basic skills. Mississippi had gone from the bottom of the pile to being just as bad as everywhere else. Some educators claim that these figures are misleading because the Basic Level (the level below proficiency) isn't bad at all. Even were that to be the case, the below Basic Level figures still yield the disturbing information that approximately four out of ten fourth-grade students lack the ability to read.

It is often easier to start a war than to end it.
This axiom As Donald Trump seeks to stop the fighting in Gaza and Ukraine, he will learn two annoying conflicts that he promised to end quickly after taking office.
To bring peace to both sides, Trump will have to put pressure on two leaders he has so far been reluctant to publicly criticize:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Russian President Vladimir Putin — Lasting peace is possible only if the interests of all parties are taken into account. The Russian leadership has been under unprecedented political and economic pressure for the past three years, which has not yielded any results." Donald Trump will not succeed if he continues to push like a ram at the new gate.

Gravity may have finally caught up with Elon Musk as Tesla shares fall.
Elon Musk's power grab in Washington didn't become the jet fuel for Tesla shares that investors were hoping for.
Tesla's stock has fallen more than 40 % since January, negating the entire Trump card that saw the stock briefly rise more than 90 % since election Day. Musk, whose fortune is largely tied to Tesla shares, has lost $ 121 billion of his net worth in the past three months.
While Musk sits at the EEOB and looks for ways to break the federal government, Tesla's core business is in crisis."
The company reported the first-ever drop in global sales last year, and this year the situation looks no better. Wall Street analysts at RBC, UBS, Goldman Sachs, Mizuho and JPMorgan lowered their supply forecasts for the company.
In particular, in China, Tesla is struggling to compete with domestic automakers. Last month, Tesla's shipments in this country fell by 49% compared with the previous year. In Europe, sales are also falling, especially in Germany, where consumers are angered by Musk's support for a far-right nationalist party linked to the Nazis. Last month, sales in Germany fell 76% from a year earlier.
All these headaches would be a serious problem for Tesla, even if it had a normal CEO. But Tesla is run by a MAGA-obsessed Musk, whose personal brand has gone from "OK, he's a little weird" a few years ago to "OK, he posts racist and anti-Semitic conspiracy theories" in 2025.
A CNN poll conducted last week showed that 53 % of Americans have a negative view of Musk, and about 60% say that he does not have enough experience or the right judgment to carry out such large-scale cuts that his "department"conducts.
While Tesla is still the best-selling electric car brand in the U.S., competition is escalating, and Musk's rightward authoritarian turn seems to be doing real damage.
Prices for used Teslas are falling more than twice as fast as the average car, according to a study by CarGurus. Used car prices overall fell 2.7% year-on-year, while used Teslas prices declined 7.3%.

US law firm Paul Weiss is fired by a client over Trump's executive order.
A client of Paul Weiss fired an American law firm in a criminal case in New Jersey, citing an executive order issued by US President Donald Trump that targets the firm because of its political clients and its domestic diversity policies.
In a statement filed Wednesday in federal court in New Jersey, Paul Weiss said that his client, Stephen Schwartz, "fired" the firm as his defense attorney because of Trump's March 14 executive order, which suspended the security clearances held by Paul Weiss ' attorneys and restricted their access to government buildings and employees.
Schwartz, the former chief legal officer of Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp(CTSH.O), is taking action against the backdrop of an escalating conflict between the Republican president and major law firms.
This month, Trump issued separate executive orders accusing Paul Weiss and another firm, Perkins Coie, of undermining the election through their past work for Democrats and adopting allegedly discriminatory diversity policies.
Perkins Coie said in a lawsuit challenging the order that it has already lost or is at risk of losing at least seven customers and "significant revenue" due to Trump's actions. The lawsuit said that the decree violates the company's rights under the US Constitution.
Asked about the filing, White House spokesman Harrison Fields said, " The Trump administration is working effectively to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal government.". Fields said it was "absurd that a billion-dollar law firm is suing to preserve access to government benefits and handouts," referring to the Perkins Coie lawsuit.
Swartz was indicted in 2019 and pleaded not guilty to violating the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act in a bribery scheme in India. The Trump administration in February ordered a review of expected prosecutions under the Foreign Bribery Act.
The filing states that the Justice Department is evaluating further steps in the case, and Schwartz is "concerned that further representation of his interests by the firm may negatively affect his ability to obtain a favorable review of his case" or create a conflict of interest.
In addition to the executive orders against Paul Weiss and Perkins Coye, the White House last month issued a narrower executive order suspending access to classified information for lawyers from Covington & Burling who represent Jack Smith, the special U.S. attorney who brought criminal charges against Trump in two cases.

It became clear what the whole USAID thing was about
Elon Musk's DOGE member has taken a senior position at USAID, the email reads.
Elon Musk's Government Efficiency officer will take the top job at the U.S. Agency for International Development, and Pete Morocco, who was instrumental in eliminating the agency, will return to the U.S. State Department.
State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce confirmed at a briefing on Wednesday that Morocco, who served as Deputy Chief of Staff for USAID, will return to the State Department full-time as Director of Foreign Aid.
In an email sent on Tuesday, Morocco announced that Secretary of State Marco Roux, who was appointed Acting head of USAID in February, will immediately transfer his authority to Jeremy Levine, who will serve as USAID's Deputy Head of Policy and Programs and become Chief Operating Officer.
Lewin was named a DOGE employee earlier this month by the chief operating officer of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and another witness in court testimony as part of a lawsuit filed by the workers ' union and others seeking to reverse the Trump administration's efforts to eliminate the agency.
Ken Jackson will serve as USAID's Deputy Chief of Management and Resources and Chief Financial Officer, with Joel Borkert as Chief of Staff and Marcus Thornton as Deputy Chief of Staff, Morocco said.
