When God Makes Us Wait
He slows the path, not to hinder—
but to prepare the soul
for the weight of the blessing
we were never meant to carry unstrengthened.
He closes doors gently,
turning us from what would wound us,
holding us under the shelter
of His protective delays.
He arranges the unseen,
aligning hearts, moments, and miracles—
because sometimes we are ready,
but the world around us is not yet in holy alignment.
He lets the quiet speak,
revealing motives, truth, and clarity—
for only stillness can uncover
the revelation
that rushing would bury.
He lifts us slowly,
raising us toward the higher place
He crafted long before we asked—
the hidden elevation
that requires patience to reach.
And in the waiting,
He teaches us to lean—
not on our strength,
but on His heartbeat,
His wisdom,
His pace.
For waiting is not delay.
Waiting is dependence.
Waiting is shaping.
Waiting is God.
