*️⃣Steriod of choice for Lung maturity *️⃣
1. Inj Betmethasone : 12 mg IM, 2 doses, 24 apart (12×2=24) or
2. Inj Dexamethasone : 6mg IM, 4 divided doses, 12 hrs apart (6×4=24)
⏺️Inj Betamethason has slightly more neuroprotective effect : steroid of choice
⏺️ Recommended by Indian National Programme➡️ inj Dexamethasone : cheaper & easily available, equally effective
