The guitar riffs are kick-ass
The bass is hard as hell
The drums are accurate
Sully Erna, the singer, his vocals are just so aggressive and so awesome, and uh...
The lyrics are there
It's just a great masterpiece

Ontology is the philosophical investigation of what there is. Hauntology is the philosophical investigation of what there isn’t. Lost futures, distant pasts, gaps and fissures in our reality that can’t be closed over. Hauntological webpages tends to foreground the technology that produces it. The unloaded image files, dysfunctional web links, the naive old CSS style remind the audience that there’s an ‘outside of the frame’. Exemplary here is InfinitePishiTheorem Channel. While attempting to transfer the old archive of memes and images to the digital web and Telegram, we found that, how the old web is deserted and empty, how image files are unloaded and give 404 errors producing an unworldly – haunting – effect. In music too, Derrida’s work spawned a whole genre called hauntology.
