Sharada Navratri starts tomorrow. 🌺 Nine days dedicated to Maa Durga are an opportunity to cultivate discipline, purity, devotion and inner strength. Students can observe Navratri through these simple practices: 1. Observe a fast (for physical discipline) If your health permits, observe a fast on one or more days(I prefer 9 days fast). If fasting for all nine days is difficult, begin with two or three days. Do not compromise your health or studies; observe the vrata according to your capacity. (Fast k naam pe duniya bhar ka khana mt khana Bs fruits aur water) 2. Recite the Durga Saptashati (for spiritual discipline) Read or listen to the Devī Māhātmya, also known as the Durgā Saptashatī or Caṇḍī Pāṭha. If Sanskrit recitation is difficult, listen attentively to a reliable recitation and follow the meaning(you can complete Durga Saptashasti path in 9 days) Or,recite Durga maa’s 32 names multiple times(108 preferred) 3. Begin your morning with Maa’s remembrance Bathe in the morning, clean your place of worship, light a diya safely and pray/meditate to Maa Durga. 4. Practise self-restraint Use these nine days to exercise restraint over your senses. Avoid unnecessary distractions, excessive entertainment and habits that weaken your discipline. Direct your energy towards study, spiritual practice and personal growth. 5. Make a sankalpa for your studies Take a simple resolution: study sincerely every day, complete a pending task, or overcome a particular weakness. Offer your efforts to Maa and practise consistency instead of merely wishing for success. 6. Maintain cleanliness and sāttvika habits Keep your room and study space clean. Where possible, eat sāttvika food, maintain regular sleep and avoid intoxicants. Let external cleanliness support inner discipline. Start with sincerity, discipline and consistency. Let these nine days be an opportunity to strengthen the body, steady the mind and deepen your devotion to Maa Durga. 🙏🏻

To all my bros/sis: Bring back your prime one more fcking time. Your parents are getting older, and no one is more desperate to see you succeed than they are. Everything can wait, I repeat, everything. But not your parents. So fck everything and do it for them.
