Good morning 👋 Here's a hard truth about trading psychology that took me years to accept. Your brain is working against you. Two things happen in the market that our instincts handle completely wrong. First, when a trade goes against us, our brain tells us to hold on. It'll come back. Because closing a loss feels like admitting failure. So we hold past our stop and a small loss becomes a big one. Second, when a trade goes in our favour, our brain tells us to take profit quickly. Lock it in before it disappears. So we close winners too early and cut our reward short. Hold losers. Close winners early. That's the exact opposite of what a profitable strategy requires. The fix isn't willpower. It's process. A hard stop that closes your trade automatically. A rule that you don't touch a winner until it hits your target. Remove the decision in the moment because in the moment your brain will always choose the wrong option. Trade the plan. Not the feeling. Good session today. 📈
