We are proud to formally announce that Dr. Mahendra Rajitha Udawalpola - Head of the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering at the University of Ruhuna - serves as the Research Lead for GANI Systems.
Dr. Udawalpola has been instrumental in architecting the GANI technology stack for some time, bringing a rigorous focus on optimization algorithms and distributed edge processing. His background is uniquely suited to the challenges of Contextual AI; he holds a PhD from Uppsala University (Sweden) and has published extensive work on topology optimization and smart system management.
Crucially, Dr. Udawalpola anchors GANI’s research network in Japan. A former visiting researcher at Meijo University’s Masuta Laboratory (Nagoya, Japan), he has established a collaborative pipeline between GANI Systems and top-tier Japanese research hubs. These partners are currently stress-testing our data models and edge protocols using methodologies derived from his published work on Smart Power Management and IoT Network Slicing.
Dr. Udawalpola is the first of several key figures we are revealing from our global research consortium. His appointment confirms that GANI Systems is built on verifiable, peer-reviewed engineering.
