GM fam 🌞 What about BTC? 🤔 Guys, the fed raised rates by 25 points, as expected more or less. We came to a local short level at 29,250. We can potentially go down from here. Taking a big short now is sort of trading against the trend on small TF. SP500 looked like a dogs breakfast yesterday but is being bought out. But for DXY, the picture is very interesting. We have almost reached local lows, which buyers will defend with a high degree of probability. Should there be a pump on DXY we might see BTC head down to around 27,200-27,400. Basically nothing new globally, we’re just straddling sideways. No point in taking big positions. The market believes that with a probability of 86% the rate will be raised to the level of 5-5.25%. That is, the very fact that the rate hike is already priced in. That is why it is not so much the figures themselves that are important for the market, as the comments of the Fed members.

By the way, April seemed like a good month for crypto, but trading volume on the top exchanges for spot spot markets dumped by 40% or so. Binance dropped almost 50% (from $556B to $287B). We know its kind of meme coin szn, but don’t get too bullish & please manager your risk so you dont get rekd.

What about BTC? We came to the local short level 28528, from it we immediately saw a small reaction. There are two outcomes. If the SP500 will sharply buy back, the BTC is likely to break the level and go to the range of 29500. If the SP500 keeps drizzling or just stays in the same zone, then bitcoin with high probability will fall after it and then we can see the descent to 27300, as drawn on the chart.

🇺🇸 Zimbabwe's central bank is set to introduce a new digital currency that will be backed by gold to replace the declining local currency and stave off the country's economic collapse. The currency will be implemented in two phases with an initial focus on investment purposes before moving to transactions. The move follows the introduction of a digital currency in Nigeria in 2021, making Nigeria the first African nation to take the plunge.
