Кто-то помогает не бояться сложных вопросов, кто-то поддерживает в момент сомнений, а кто-то просто однажды говорит нужные слова — и день становится немного светлее. Пусть каждый ваш день будет наполнен любопытными вопросами, живыми диалогами и учениками, которые не перестают вас удивлять 💙
Спасибо нашим учителям за внимание к каждому, за терпение, чувство юмора, искреннюю вовлечённость и за ту особую атмосферу, в которой хочется учиться.

A teacher is someone who can see more in a pupil than they sometimes see in themselves. Someone who helps them feel less afraid of difficult questions, offers support when they are unsure, or simply says the right thing at just the right moment and makes the day a little brighter. May your days be filled with curious questions, good conversations, and pupils who never stop surprising you 💙

Another examination year is behind us. Students from our CIS campuses in Skolkovo, St Petersburg and Tashkent took exams as part of both the Russian and international programmes. The results are:
Russian Programme
🔵100% of students successfully passed the OGE
🔵100% of students successfully passed the EGE in their chosen specialist subjects
Top individual EGE results:

| 13 |  +5Студенты CIS Санкт-Петербург во второй раз приняли участие в международной математической олимпиаде TIMO, которая прошла в Баку, Азербайджан 🌍➗
Для некоторых ребят это был первый опыт участия в международном интеллектуальном соревновании. Они достойно справились с волнением, познакомились с участниками из разных стран и получили бесценный опыт.
По итогам олимпиады наши ученики Year 3 и Year 6 завоевали три бронзовые медали и получили почётную грамоту — Honourable Mention, которой отмечают участников, показавших высокий результат 🥉
Такие поездки помогают детям поверить в свои силы, учат уверенно принимать новые вызовы и вдохновляют двигаться вперёд. Именно этот опыт и желание двигаться вперёд мы считаем самым ценным результатом.
Благодарим родителей за доверие и поддержку, а наших учеников — за смелость, упорство и достойное представление школы на международной арене.
Отдельная благодарность учителю математики Мр Алексею Калимуллину за организацию поездки и сопровождение команды, а также администрации кампуса CIS Санкт-Петербург — за поддержку этой инициативы.
Надеемся, что участие в TIMO станет для CIS Санкт-Петербург доброй традицией и откроет нашим ученикам ещё больше возможностей для международных академических достижений 💙

Students from CIS Saint Petersburg took part in the TIMO International Mathematics Olympiad for the second time. This year, the competition was held in Baku, Azerbaijan 🌍➗
For some of our students, this was their first experience of competing in an international academic competition. They rose to the challenge with confidence, met participants from different countries, and gained invaluable experience.
Our Year 3 and Year 6 students achieved an excellent result, winning three Bronze Medals and one Honourable Mention 🥉
Opportunities like these help children believe in their abilities, build the confidence to embrace new challenges, and inspire them to keep striving for excellence. We believe that this experience, and the motivation it creates, is the most valuable outcome of all.
We would like to thank our parents for their trust and support, and our students for their courage, determination, and for representing the school with distinction on the international stage.
Special thanks to our Mathematics teacher, Mr Aleksei Kalimullin, for organising the trip and accompanying the team, as well as to the CIS Saint Petersburg campus administration for supporting this initiative.

Концерты в наших кампусах стали финальной нотой этого учебного года. Кажется, только недавно мы встречали студентов 1 сентября, а сейчас уже снова провожаем на летние каникулы.
За эти месяцы у каждого из нас появились свои воспоминания об этом учебном году.
🔵Для учеников это были первые шаги на сцене, поездки и новые друзья.
🔵Для учителей — моменты гордости за своих студентов и тихие повседневные радости.
🔵Для родителей — наблюдения за тем, как их дети растут, меняются и становятся увереннее.
🔴И у каждого — своя история этого года. Но все мы были частью одного сообщества. И это, пожалуй, главное.

Summer Concerts across our campuses marked the final note of this academic year. It feels like only yesterday we were welcoming students back on 1 September — and now we're already waving them off for the summer holidays.
Over these months, each of us has gathered their own memories of this school year.

🔵For teachers — moments of pride in their students and the quiet joys of school life.
🔵For parents — watching their children grow, change, and become more confident.
🔴Each of us has our own story of this year. But we were all part of one community. And that, perhaps, is what matters most.

One of our favourite school traditions is Russian Culture Week. Each year, it brings students and teachers together to rediscover the richness of Russian history, literature, music and the arts.
For those who have come from other countries, it is an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the culture and traditions of the country in which they live and study. For our whole school community, it is a chance to share knowledge, find common ground and see how different cultures enrich one another.

В этом году на площадке встретились шесть команд: Сборная CIS, CIS Горки, CIS Сколково, CIS Санкт-Петербург, а также наши гости — команды «УчимЗнаем» и «Заботливая школа».
Последние несколько лет кубок неизменно увозила команда «УчимЗнаем». Но в этом году победа осталась за нами — первое место завоевала Сборная CIS 💙
Итоги турнира:
🥇 1 место — Сборная CIS
🥈 2 место — УчимЗнаем
🥉 3 место — CIS Горки
🟠 4 место — CIS Санкт-Петербург
🟠 5 место — CIS Сколково
🟠 6 место — Заботливая школа
Конечно, нам приятно вернуть кубок домой, но главное в этом турнире давно не только финальный результат. Из года в год он становится поводом собраться вместе: встретить знакомые команды, провести день на площадке, поддержать друг друга и разделить радость игры.
Именно такие встречи лучше всего отражают наши ценности: сотрудничество (Collaboration), забота (Care) и непрерывное развитие (Continuous Learning).
Спасибо всем, кто вышел на площадку, болел с трибун и создавал атмосферу этого дня.

Our traditional volleyball tournament took place at the CIS Gorki campus 🏐
This year, six teams took part: CIS United, CIS Gorki, CIS Skolkovo, CIS Saint Petersburg, and our guests — the teams "UchimZnaem" and "Zabotlivaya Shkola".
For the past few years, the cup consistently went to the "UchimZnaem" team. But this time, victory stayed with us — CIS United claimed first place 💙
Tournament results:
🥇 1st place — CIS United
🥈 2nd place — UchimZnaem
🥉 3rd place — CIS Gorki
🟠 4th place — CIS Saint Petersburg
🟠 5th place — CIS Skolkovo
🟠 6th place — Zabotlivaya Shkola
Of course, it feels good to bring the cup back home. But the main thing about this tournament has never been just the final result. Year after year, it becomes a reason to get together — to meet familiar teams, spend the day on the court, support each other, and share the joy of the game.
These are the moments that truly reflect our values: Collaboration, Care, and Continuous Learning.
Thank you to everyone who stepped onto the court, cheered from the stands, and helped create the atmosphere of the day.

| 17 |  +5Ученики Upper Primary из CIS Горки провели несколько насыщенных дней в лагере на базе гостевого дома «Лачи». 🏸
Ребята участвовали в спортивных активностях, квестах, ориентировании на местности, мини-олимпиаде и командных испытаниях.
Помимо насыщенной программы, особенно запомнились моменты, которые невозможно запланировать: общие победы, поддержка друзей, смех и чувство настоящей команды.
Отдельное спасибо организаторам, которые сделали эту поездку безопасной, интересной и по-настоящему особенной. 💙
Уверены, лагерь останется одним из самых тёплых воспоминаний этого учебного года. 🌲🏡

Upper Primary pupils from CIS Gorki spent several eventful days at a camp based at the Lachi guest house. 🏸
The children took part in sports activities, quests, orienteering, a mini-Olympics and team challenges.
In addition to the packed programme, what stood out most were the moments that cannot be planned: shared victories, the support of friends, laughter and the feeling of a true team.
A special thank you to the organisers, who made this trip safe, enjoyable and truly special 💙

| 18 |  +83 дня в Санкт-Петербурге: учёба за пределами класса 🔬🏰
На прошлой неделе ученики CIS Горки отправились в культурно-образовательное путешествие в Санкт-Петербург. Программа была насыщенной: история, искусство, наука и новые впечатления — всё в одной поездке.
Знакомство с городом началось с Эрмитажа, где каждый зал открывал новую страницу мировой истории и культуры. Вечером ребята посетили Михайловский театр и прикоснулись к традициям русской сцены.
Любителям экспериментов особенно запомнился музей занимательной науки, где физику можно не только изучать, но и буквально трогать руками.
Один из дней прошёл в Петергофе: фонтаны, дворцы, прогулки по паркам. А вечером ребята отправились на теплоходную прогулку по каналам города под живую музыку.
Но самые ценные результаты таких поездок остаются за кадром. Это новые знакомства, умение работать в команде, самостоятельность, уверенность в себе и готовность открывать для себя новое.

3 Days in St Petersburg: learning beyond the classroom 🔬🏰
Last week, CIS Gorki students set off on an educational and cultural trip to St Petersburg. The programme was packed with history, art, science and new experiences — all brought together in one memorable journey.
The trip began with a visit to the Hermitage Museum, where every gallery revealed a new chapter of world history and culture. In the evening, students attended a performance at the Mikhailovsky Theatre, experiencing the rich traditions of Russian theatre.
One of the highlights for many was the Museum of Entertaining Science, where physics came to life through interactive exhibits that could be explored hands-on.
A full day was spent in Peterhof, with its famous fountains, grand palaces and beautiful parklands. Later that evening, students enjoyed a boat cruise along the city's canals accompanied by live music.
Yet the most valuable outcomes of trips like these are often the ones that cannot be captured in photographs. New friendships, teamwork, independence, confidence and a willingness to embrace new experiences are all part of the journey.
We look forward to returning to St Petersburg next academic year! 🚢 | 461 |
