This Video was made 6 weeks ago when I started the Pockets of Rizdom channel on Discord. 🫡 This is my advise and lessons I’ve taken on board when trying to create change. 💯 To often I see traders just drifting through the journey with no sense of urgency! 😤 You need that mental shift! Trading In The Zone: Chapter 7- Law of Probabilities! 🧠 The most powerful chapter in the book and the one that really needs to be understood and implemented into your mindset. ✅ It’s not the outcome of the individual trade but the outcome of the basket of trades. 🔑 People ask me often how many trades do we need to see as a good sample size and indication of the edge. 🧐 Firstly, remember that first every trade must fit the edge completely for the sample to be correct. 💯 However, the number minimum wise Is 20 trades as stated in Trading in the Zone. 🔑 Obviously the larger the sample size the better, as more data will show you you the performance of the edge to judge if it’s something that gives you enough to hit your goals. 👑 This requires work! Which is the main reason why most won’t do it, they are too lazy to take action on what is needed as it a “boring”. 😤 Another reason I say real trading is boring, is because it requires you to turn up on time, be disciplined and journal consistently! 💪🏽

Trading being boring doesn’t mean that you don’t enjoy it and not passionate about getting onto the charts. ❌ What it actually means, is that you’re not going through those gambling moments of feeling massive amounts of fear and greed! 🔑 When you started trading or early on in your journey no doubt you would over risk, have no plan, no routine or consistent actions which obviously presented no consistent results. 😤 If you reflect I imagine you’ll even remember the emotions you felt and the euphoric highs and damaging lows. 🧐 So when I say trading is boring what I mean is you remove that from your trading, now it’s a balanced mindset. Not heightened emotions that leads to erratic decisions. 🧠 Process driven, focused on what will actually yield the desired results and not allowing our mind to give in to basic impulses. 🫡

At first I misunderstood the question and assumed he meant he doesn’t want trading to be boring! 😤 Then I realised he was asking how to counter the feeling of being bored and avoid taking a trade for the sake of it. 🙏🏽 There are a few things that come to mind that has helped me overcome this. 👇🏽 1. Having a clear entry drill that tells a high probable story, this alone aids in the calmness, aids in being disciplined and aids in trusting the edge. ✅ 2. Truly accepting what trading with an edge means. We all know it’s a probability based game when we are trading, it’s random distribution of wins and losses but what a lot of people fail to realise is that, the one way the edge can play out is by sticking to it every single time and many haven’t truly accepted this. ❌ 3. Discipline to sticking to your entry drill/edge. Understanding that your goal of being full time and consistent requires you to do so. It doesn’t matter what’s boring or exciting, what matters is what you’re trying to achieve! ✅

18 years old, working jobs, in the rat race but the vision was strong. 👁 It’s necessary to be passionate about your goals, to be enthusiastic everyday towards them. 🔑 If I wasn’t I wouldn’t have survived the last 9 years to get to where I am today. 💯 After that moment there were many failures both financially, relationships and in mindset too. ❌ However, it was the passion and enthusiasm that got me through and allowed me to persevere. 💎 Documenting the journey isn’t for the sake of social media, it’s for this very reason- to leave notes from the past as reminders to your future self. 🧠 Yes along the way it can inspire, add value or motivate others which is an added bonus but really it’s about how can you use it to benefit yourself. 🤔 Always remember that the best is yet to come for you. What you do now pays you 5 years from now. Trust in the process, enjoy the journey and be relentless towards your dreams! 🫡
