About one month ago, we approached you and our other supporters with a serious need: $50,000 to keep the work going into the fall and winter.
We were deeply humbled as you responded with incredible generosity, meeting and exceeding our goal.
To everyone who shared, prayed, and sent notes of encouragement, we say THANK YOU!
Because of your support, we see a clear path forward to continue using digital media to encourage allegiance to Jesus' sacrificial kingdom.
We're able to maintain capacity and refocus our team on publishing regular episodes and completing Anabaptist Origins.
While the immediate need has been met, building long-term stability and monthly base of regular contributors is still a priority.
Again, thank you for your prayers, care, kind words, and financial support that make this ministry possible!
Evolutionary Biology PhD, But Also Young Earth Creationist. Here's Why. — Todd Wood
Todd Wood earned his Ph.D in evolutionary biochemistry, yet firmly believes that God created the world less than ten thousand years ago and that evolution is false. In this episode, Todd explains why, as a scientist, he is a young earth creationist and why he believes evolution is in opposition to Scripture. Many scientists disagree with his position, and Todd explains why that is and what convinces him that young earth creationism position is correct.

A little over two weeks ago, we launched "Keep the Work Going" with a matching fund of $12,000 and an overall goal of $50,000.
Since then, generous donors from all around have stepped forward to help fill the need in an incredible way. We have met the matching fund and more, and we are just over halfway to our overall goal of $50,000. We are deeply humbled and grateful for the support and care we have felt. Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed!
The giving so far has bought us valuable time heading into the year-end giving season, and it means we can hold the capacity we have built while we work on the longer-term picture.
Steady, monthly support is what lets us plan and build for the future. If you've been meaning to give but haven't, consider a monthly donation of whatever amount makes sense to you. You may do so at: https://anabaptistperspectives.org/keep
Again, we are very grateful and humbled by the support we have felt over the last while. It has truly been a blessing. Thank you!
How Radical Islam Caused 9/11: Returning to the Sources and Bin Laden - Chris Stolzfus
25 years ago, America fundamentally changed with the attacks on September 11, 2001. Since then, the world has grappled with the rise of global terrorism, war in the Middle East, and the refugee crisis. But how and why did the 9/11 attacks happen? What led us up to this moment?
Chris Stoltzfus brings his years of Middle Eastern experience and Islamic studies to this conversation, explaining the origins of radical Islamic fundamentalism. How does its foundation compare to the foundation of Christianity? How should we engage with, and respond to, radical Islam?

The Theologian of Early Anabaptism Who Died for Politics - Dean Taylor
Figures like Conrad Grebel, Felix Manz, and Michael Sattler are well known for their roles in the founding and first years of the Anabaptist movement. But there was another figure important to the beginnings of Anabaptism that we rarely hear about. This man, Balthasar Hubmaier, did significant work on Anabaptist theology up to his martyrdom in 1528. Dean Taylor gives a profile of who Hubmaier was, what he contributed to the Anabaptist movement, and how his failings led to tragedy.

Doug Wilson, Neo-Christendom, and Reclaiming America: Why? - Jaran Miller
Doug Wilson and the Reformed movement around Moscow, Idaho are now mainstream news, and the pull has reached Mennonite churches. Jaran Miller, one of the founders of Anabaptist Perspectives, explores why this is happening. Who is Doug Wilson? What does he teach? Why is Reformed theology appealing to some Mennonites? We also hear some insights from Titus Keupfer and Landon Miller.
The Ideal Resistance - John D. Martin

For nine years, generous supporters have enabled Anabaptist Perspectives to publish regular, upbuilding content. Essays, episodes, the teaching series of Frank Reed, and this summer, Anabaptist Origins: all released freely across a wide range of platforms.
Our team grew to meet the production demands of the past two years, with that growth largely funded by giving raised for specific projects like Origins. That giving did what it was meant to do and has now been spent. While our monthly supporter base has grown to over 130 members, their giving does not yet cover ongoing production costs.
Current supporters provide an incredibly valuable foundation, so a lack of additional donors would not stop the work, but it would slow considerably. Staying within our current base would mean scaling back hours, publishing less often, and setting the larger projects aside.
You have a real say in what we can and cannot do.
To sustain what we have built and carry some margin into next year, we are seeking $50,000 by the end of November. Thanks to generous donors, the first $12,000 of this will be matched dollar for dollar. If this work matters to you and you want to keep it going, you can give at anabaptistperspectives.org/keep (or by check to Anabaptist Perspectives, 127 County Road 616, Athens, TN 37303)
P.S. If you are unable to give right now, you can still help by passing an episode along to someone who may be blessed by it.
