While we wait for CarCar OS — releasing a firmware patch for TBox Ultra based on Carlinkit 27.03.2026 stock firmware. The full OS arrives later in 2026. Learn more
What's changed:
• Tuned GPS as far as this firmware allows
• Fixed the "exclamation mark" issue
• Enabled multitouch for the Android Auto protocol
• Cleaned the firmware of preinstalled apps and bloat that was consuming CPU and memory. Note: if, before this OTA, you updated any preinstalled app (via Google Play or manually), it will stay on the device — only the stock firmware versions are removed.
Installation:
1. Download the file — directly on the head unit via the browser, or on a computer and then transfer it to the device via SD card.
2. Open FOTA on the device.
3. Gear icon → Local update → USB disk.
4. Select the file, confirm the installation in the popup.
5. Reboot the device (FOTA will prompt you).
The update does not wipe user data — you can install over the top without a factory reset.
Rollback and device recovery — see the AIBOX channel and forum.

Что изменилось:
• Настроили GPS насколько это возможно
• Устранили проблему "восклицательного знака"
• Включили мультитач для протокола Android Auto
• Почистили прошивку от предустановленных приложений
и мусора, который потреблял процессор и память. Примечение: если до прошивки вы обновили какое-либо предустановленное приложение (через Google Play или вручную), оно останется на устройстве — удаляются только версии из стоковой прошивки.
Установка:
1. Скачайте файл — на головном устройстве через браузер, либо на компьютере и затем перенесите файл на устройство через карту памяти.
2. Откройте FOTA на устройстве.
3. Шестерёнка → Local update → USB disk.
4. Выберите файл, во всплывающем окне согласитесь на установку.
5. Перезагрузите устройство (FOTA сама предложит).
Обновление не стирает пользовательские данные — можно ставить поверх без сброса к заводским настройкам.

🤖 Major update to the license management bot
- Our bot is now available on the MAX messenger. It supports all the same features as the Telegram bot. Instructions on how to sync your Telegram and MAX accounts — so you don't lose access to purchased licenses and can buy licenses even when connectivity is restricted — are available here.
- We've added another payment provider — Prodamus. It supports both Russian and international cards. We encourage all our users outside Russia who have had trouble purchasing a license to give this option a try.
- We've added support for "floating licenses" — these can be purchased through the bot without being tied to a specific device (e.g., if you haven't bought the device yet) and activated later once you have it in hand.
- We've added the ability to upgrade licenses — for those who purchased a standard license and want to support the project by upgrading to an exclusive license.
- We've improved the bot's overall usability and reliability.
📜 We've launched an instructions website where you can find out:
- How to purchase a license for the first time
- How to restore your license after reinstalling the launcher or reflashing your device
- Which payment method to choose
- How to link your Telegram and MAX accounts
The instructions will be updated and expanded as our products evolve.

🤖 Большое обновление бота управления лицензиями
- Наш бот теперь есть и в мессенджере MAX. Он поддерживает все функции бота в Telegram. О том, как синхронизировать аккаунты в Telegram и MAX, чтобы не потерять доступ к купленным лицензиям и иметь возможность приобретать лицензии в условиях ограничений связи, мы написали здесь
- Добавили еще один платежный сервис – Prodamus. Он поддерживает оплату как российскими, так и зарубежными картами. Мы рекомендуем всем нашим пользователям за пределами России, у кого не получалось купить лицензию, попробовать этот способ.
- Добавили поддержку "свободных лицензий" – такие лицензии можно купить в боте без привязки к устройству, например, если устройства еще не куплено, и активировать позже, когда устройство будет на руках.
- Добавили возможность "апгрейда" лицензий – для тех, кто купил стандартную лицензию, и хочет поддержать развитие проекта покупкой эксклюзивной лицензии.
- Повысили удобство и надежность работы бота
