🔰Understand what "UPSC Panel" is Looking for.... ✅One has to understand the objectives of PT and accordingly try to incualact those qualities in his or her personality as also ensure that the same are reflected during the PT. ✅So read carefully why UPSC conducts personality test. In its own words 👇 1. The object of the PT is to assess the personal suitability of the candidate for a career in public service by an expert group of competent and unbiased examiners. It is intended to judge the mental calibre of a candidate. 2. It is really an assessment of not only his/her intellectual qualities but also social traits and his/her interest in current affairs. 3. Some of the qualities to be judged are mental alertness, critical powers of assimilation, clear and logical exposition, balance of judgement, variety and depth of interest, ability for social cohesion and leadership, intellectual and moral integrity. 4. Questions will be asked on matters of general interest. PT is intended to be a test of both the specialised or general knowledge of the candidates. 5. The technique of the PT is that of a natural, directed and purposive assessment, intended to reveal the mental qualities of the candidate. ✅ Follow these key guidelines while preparing for Personality Test.
