📌The purpose why we need to begin off the class right now is that we should develop an environment and create an space for our trainees where they feel belong, they matter, they feel heard, be friendly with their instructors, feel comfortable approaching their instructor and asking questions about anything that comes in to their mind freely. ✅Our experience from the previous year taught us a lot. We scheduled the registration and COC exam training session two weeks before the exam date, which caused confusion for our students and made them feel awkward asking questions of and interacting with their instructors. To prevent this type of ineffective class, we must give students plenty of opportunity to get to know their instructors and feel comfortable asking and raising any issues that may arise. Hello Family Here are some of the information's you need to know about last year's intake system of Med school at AAU. More than 800 students took the entrance exam last year. Out of those, around 150 students joined medicine and 30 students joined Doctor in dental medicine. 📌The exam consisted of two parts, written and oral. ✅Students who passed the medical school entrance exam were selected by their GPA and entrance exam result. Entrance exam(grade 12) were given 20% proportion(GPA-50% & Entrance exam-20%) in 2013 batch. however it was different in last years case(2014 BATCH), both GPA and UEE result weight was equal i.e 35% each, out of 70%. then the written exam which you're going to take will have 20% value and the interview will be taken out of 10% .( ✅ 30% which makes the biggest difference among candidates) TO SUMMERIZE TO PASS FOR THE COC 👉GPA - 35% 👉UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE EXAM(UEE) - 35% -------------------------------------------------- 👉TOTAL=70% TO ENTER MEDICAL SCHOOL 👉(GPA+UEE)=70% 👉WRITTEN EXAM=20% 👉ORAL EXAM(INTERVIEW)=10% -------------------------------------------------- 👉TOTAL=100% Regarding affirmative action 5% was given to females over males. In the last two years the interview was after the written exam. so what Havan CoC exam preparation will deal with is on the last 30% part, which makes the biggest difference among the candidates. this means we are not saying, we will merely focus on the coc exam part, rather we will guide and provide mentorship for our trainees so that their GPA makes them competent.
