Die Alice L. Walton School of Medicine in Bentonville hat im vergangenen Jahr ihre ersten 48 Studierenden aufgenommen.
Das innovative daran? Statt klassischer Krankheitsbehandlung setzt die Schule vor allem auf Präventivmedizin: Ernährung, mentale Gesundheit, Lebensstil und Umwelt, um Menschen gesund zu halten, bevor sie überhaupt krank werden. 🌿
Der Campus gleicht eher einem Wellness-Resort: mit Gärten, Lehrfarm, Meditationsräumen und direktem Zugang zum Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. ✨
Besonders großzügig: Alice Walton finanziert die gesamten Studiengebühren für die ersten fünf Jahrgänge.
Ihr Ziel: eine neue Generation von Medizinern auszubilden, die das von ihr als „kaputt“ bezeichnete amerikanische Gesundheitssystem verändern soll.
Sollte das Modell erfolgreich sein, könnte diese Schule zum Vorbild der Medizin von morgen werden. 🚀

Ostern/Ostara trägt uraltes Wissen in sich – weit älter als wir oft glauben.
Es ist die Zeit, in der das Leben sichtbar zurückkehrt, in der die Erde sich öffnet und neues Werden möglich wird.
Das Ei ist dabei eines der ältesten Symbole überhaupt.
Es steht für das Leben selbst, für den Ursprung, für das ungeborene Potenzial, das in der Tiefe ruht – bereit, sich zu entfalten.
Wenn wir Eier bemalen, berühren wir unbewusst dieses uralte Wissen:
Wir geben dem Leben Farbe, wir ehren die Schöpfung, wir feiern das, was wachsen will.
Der Hase, so sanft und wachsam, ist ein Wesen der Fruchtbarkeit und Lebenskraft.
Er war schon in alten Frühlingsritualen ein Symbol für die Fülle, für die schnelle Vermehrung des Lebens, für das Pulsieren der Natur.
Er erinnert uns daran, dass das Leben immer einen Weg findet – leise, wild und kraftvoll zugleich.
Und das Osternest…
ein kleines, geborgenes Zuhause.
Ein Ort, der hält, der nährt, der schützt.
So wie die Erde selbst uns hält.
So wie wir Räume erschaffen dürfen – für uns, für andere, für das, was neu entstehen möchte.
Vielleicht ist Ostern genau das:
eine Einladung, dich selbst wieder als Teil dieses Kreislaufs zu spüren.
Dich zu erinnern, dass auch in dir Samen liegen, die bereit sind zu keimen.
Dass du tragen, nähren und erschaffen kannst – auf deine ganz eigene Weise.
