අපිට අපේ Android device එකක Internal storage එක වැඩි කරගන්න පුළුවන් ද..? මේක මගෙ Android Device එක බිල්ලට තියලා පොඩි පරීක්ෂණයක්. ඔයා ඔයාගේ Internal storage එකේ usage එකට ගියොත් බලාගන්න පුළුවන් අඩුම 15GB වත් system එකට Allocate වෙලා. ඒත් ඒ value එක ඇත්තටම accurate ද..? නෑ. මම මේ Article එකේදි කතා වුනා Android Device එකේ partition sturcture එක - ඒ කිව්වෙ කොහොමද EMMC/UFS Chip එක පංගු වලට බෙදිලා තියෙන්නෙ කියලා. මම සරලවම පැහැදිලි කරන්න බලන්නම් මම මොකක්ද කරේ කියලා. මේක හරියට කේක් කපනවා වගේ වැඩක් :) මගෙ "/system" partition එකට Internal storage එකෙන් 6.5GB වෙන් කරලා තියෙයි. Phone එකට එන වැඩකට නැති Apps ටික අයින් කරාම 1.5GB free වෙනවා, ඒ කියන්නේ system partition එක ඇතුලේ තියෙන්නේ 5GB වගේ content එකක්. "/system" එකේ file system එක ext4. මම ඒක erofs වලට convert කරොත්, erofs වල තියෙන compression සහ de-duplication function එක නිසා system partition එකේ අන්තර්ගතය 3GB වගේ වෙනවා. මෙතනදි තමයි ගැවළුවක් වෙන්නේ. අපි 6.5GB තිබ්බ එක 3GB කරගත්තානම් ඉතුරු 3.5GB ටික නාස්තියක්..? මගෙ theory එක මේකයි. ඒ ඉතුරු වෙන 3.5GB කෑල්ල කේක් කෑල්ලක් කපනවා වගේ වෙන් කරලා ගන්නවා. system විතරක් නෙවේ, අනිත් partitions වලටත් මේකම කරනවා. එතකොට අපිට 7GB වගේ ලොකු free space එකක් හම්බවෙනවා. ඒ free space එක /userdata එකට merge කරලා /userdata එක extend කරනවා. එතකොට අපිට අපේ Data ගබඩා කරන්න තියෙන ඉඩ වැඩි උනා වගේ තමයි. එක අතකට කිව්වොත් internal storage එකේ physical capacity එක වැඩි නොකර, logical capacity එක වැඩි කිරීමක්. මම එක්තරා විදියකට විතරයි මේක සාර්ථක වුනේ. මම කිව්වේ මගෙ හිතේ තියෙන idea එක විතරයි. මේක possible කියලා මම දන්නවා. free වෙලාවක try කරලා බලන්න ඕනි :) මේ තියෙන්නේ මම මේ සීන් එක ගැන කරපු පොඩි documentation එකක් වගේ. කරන විදියත් explain කරලා තියෙයි සරලව. ඒත් මේ වගේ දේවල් වලදි මොකක්ම හරි වැරැද්දක් වුනොත් device එක දමලා ගහලා යනවා. තේරුනාද දන්නෑ මගෙ විකාර idea එක 🫥🫠 @Ravindu_D #wtf #android #අමානුෂික_පරීක්ෂණ
