I told 6) how would you increase sale of any petrol pump? I replied 7) which petrol pump is better HPCL or BPCL and dost ne ky ky bataya BPCL ke bare me (becoj I filed my friend name in DAF who was in BPCL bottling plant) 8)petrol industry decline me hai then why are coming here? 9) what are the challenges in front of oil sector ? 10)tell main challenge of EV ? (Becoj I told about EV) 11) ur strength I told less fluency in ENGLISH (Initially interview was in eng but after some time I request to talk in Hindi to ek sir bole no u hv to give in eng but then another mam intrupted and sir ko bolin ki bolne do usko Hindi me 12). Same sir told to me that now speak 5 min whatever u want about India in ENGLISH ? Ans becoj I was aware about current affairs I started speaking and after my 5,6 points then same sir appreciated me for my eng and said u are good in eng don't underestimate Then 13) SAME mam asked for eng improvement what measures u are taking ? THEY GRILL SO MUCH Vaha bluff krne ki kosis ki to fass jayegen so tell honestly jo bhi actual reason lage (27 candidates came and only 3 selected for medical ReSULT -GT cleared,PI cleared , MEDICAL cleared. But missed by 2 marks in Largely HR based interview tilted towards marketing Qs Never bluff, they asked Qs from our ans, so much cross questions they try to demoralises to check pressure handling ability .

OIL interview Date:08/05/2021 Online interview Total 10 members around 6-7 of them asked questions. Some of the questions were: 1) Introduce yourself,what do you know about OIL,what do you know about Assam,famous personalities from Assam etc. 2) option b/w IOCL &OIL which one will you choose and why 3) Technical questions: Railway tracks welding method, constituents in it,one more question from this area. 4) bearing used in crank shaft of an IC Engine 5)Tell us something about waste heat recovery concept in an IC engine. 6)Tell me about lubrication system working of an IC engine and functions of different components. 7)what if we increase or decrease the lubricant pressure tell the consequences. 8)explain engine cooling system(thermostat focus) 9)Relation between Torque and RPM (gave one calculation) 10)explain laminar and turbulent flow 11)explain turbulent flow parameters, pressure viscosity etc. (can't recall exactly) 12) Reynolds no regarding 13)What is swaging and why do we use it. 14)HR Question:What do you do to be a non haphazard person and 1-2 similar question. On 2-3 questions they started grilling and wanted us to think and answer and were not 100% satisfied with our answers.

OIL Interview experience:- Interview panel consisted of 08 members.Firstly they asked to introduce myself.I ended my introduction with my hobby (dancing),so they asked me the famous dance form of Assam. I was having 06 months of experience in working with Refrigeration & Air-conditioning MNC,so they started asking technical questions from RAC.(Basic questions from the notes of made-easy) 2.Then they ask about compressors and pumps(as most of the technical operations involved these equipments) 3.Next topic from where the questions were asked is IC Engines.General questions were asked like how cooling system works in cars.What is lube oil.How radiator works.(Better to read few general topics from V-ganeshan) 4Next topic of questions was material science.Material used in bearings.Properties of Cast iron.Iron-carbon diagram. 5.Next question they ask was about the organisation OIL.Better to go once through the web site.Introduction of the organisation with current schemes and activities must be gone through. 6.Last they asked about the location,generally posting is given in north-east India.So they ask whether I am comfortable to do job there or not.
