Drinking a gallon of kefir doesn’t guarantee it implants in your gut. External factors—like fluoride in water—can kill microbes before they settle. 'If I take probiotics with fluoridated water, I’ve just undone it,' she warns. Everything impacts the microbiome: air, stress, even skin creams.
