At Malka, memory development is part of everyday life.
Children remember new things through poems, songs, games, repetition, and bright visual materials. Children remember through movement, rhythm or stories. We work with all of it.
To keep them interested, we change the format regularly. Some days we use games and hands-on materials. Other days it might be videos, music, or group activities. Young children learn better when attention stays active.
We also pay close attention to different stages of development.
🌱 During the first year, children begin building motor memory
🌱 From around one year old, recognition and short-term memory start to develop
🌱 Between two and three, the foundation of long-term memory becomes stronger
🌱 From three to seven, speech, communication, and long-term memory develop more actively
Every child develops differently. At Malka, we try to notice what works best for each one. The goal is not pressure or speed. It’s helping children stay curious, confident, and comfortable while they learn.

At Malka, we keep things simple.
Children are not forced to eat and sleep.
We’ve seen that for some children, especially the more active ones, sitting still or lying down can feel difficult. So we don’t push it.
Everything is discussed with parents.
💤 Some children choose to rest.
They lie down, listen to a story, and fall asleep.
Others stay up. They play board games, read, draw, build, talk, or just spend time quietly in their own way.
Both are fine.
📍 If you’d like to see how it works, we invite you for a personal visit.

Some of the most important skills start with the body.
Here are a few exercises we do with our toddler group.
🔹 “The fly”
We say a short rhyme about a fly landing on different parts of the body and children need to point to them.
Then we start to confuse them a little. We say “cheeks” but touch our ears.
At first, they follow the movement.
Then slowly, they begin to listen more carefully.
🔹 “Mirror”
We raise arms, move legs, touch different parts of the body.
Left, right, slowly, together.
Some children copy straight away.
Others need a moment and then it clicks.
🔹 “One or two”
We look for parts of the body. What is single, what comes in pairs.
One nose, two eyes, two hands…
They count, they touch and they check again.
It looks simple but this is where children begin to understand their body, space, and direction.
We are waiting for children aged 3 to 11 at our Summertime day camp, from 29 June to 7 August.
This year, one place quickly became everyone’s favourite.
The new climbing wall. 🧗
Children come back to it again and again.
They try, slip, adjust, try again.
They hold on, find their balance, and slowly move higher.
There is no pressure, just small steps.
And then suddenly, they make it.
Around it, there is space to move and explore
🌱 rope course “Kenguru”
🌱 trampolines
🌱 playgrounds
🌱 cycling paths
🌱 swings and zip line
🌱 football and volleyball field
🌱 outdoor sculpture
🌱 summer veranda
🌱 picnic area
Days here are simple.
Children move, play, rest, then start again.
If you want your child to spend the summer like this, you are welcome to join us.

The space at Malka is built for movement.
Children don’t just sit here.
They climb, crawl, balance, disappear into small corners, then come back again.
Children come up, to our second floor and the pace changes.
There are ropes, nets, soft levels.
They climb, hold on, balance, move carefully. Sometimes they stop halfway, look around, then continue.
Some go straight through.
Others stay longer, figuring it out step by step.
There’s no single way to use the space.
Each child moves in their own rhythm.
It’s not about rushing.
It’s about trying, adjusting, and slowly becoming more confident

At Malka Children’s Centre, toddler classes are built in a simple way. Children don’t learn one thing at a time. They learn several things together.
🔹 In one session, children work on :
• early maths
• speech and language
• understanding the world around them
• attention and thinking
• sensory activities
• body awareness
• fine and gross motor skills
• creative tasks
At this stage, we focus on helping children use what they already know. Not repeat it, but apply it in different situations.
📐For example, when we work with shapes, children don’t only name them. They look at shape, colour, and size at the same time. They sort, choose, and then use these shapes in a task. Sometimes they build something together. Sometimes they solve a small problem.
📍 This kind of work helps children :
- To notice details.
- To compare and group objects
- To stay focused for longer
connect different ideas naturally
It may look simple from the outside but this is where real learning starts

At Malka Children’s Centre, we have a Friday habit. We bake challah with the children.
👨🏻🍳 It’s not just about the bread. They mix, they wait, they help each other. Some get it straight away, others take their time and that’s fine.
If you feel like it, you can try it at home as well.
🔸 Ingredients
• 1 pack of fresh yeast
• 3 eggs
• 2 kg of flour
• 3 cups of sugar
• 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
• 1 tablespoon of salt
• 3 cups of warm water
🔸 Method
Mix the yeast with warm water and a little sugar. Leave it for about 10 minutes.
In another bowl, mix the eggs with the rest of the sugar and the salt.
Combine everything.
Add the flour gradually and knead a soft dough. Add the oil at the end.
Leave it in a warm place for about an hour.
Shape into braids, brush with egg, and bake at 180°C for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden brown
A simple thing to do together.
Malka Children’s Centre invites your child to join our summer camp.

🚸 The camp is for children aged 3 to 11.
Children are divided into small groups by age. Each group has its own programme.
We work until 14 August.
You can focus on your day while your child is busy and cared for.

Over time, we’ve clearly seen that the bilingual system works.
Children get used to English quite quickly. First they listen. Then they start to understand. And after a while, they begin to speak, naturally, in simple everyday situations.
🧑🏫 All our teachers are native speakers and regularly update their qualifications for working with young children.
🇬🇧 Starting English early really helps. In class, children practise reading, listening and simple grammar. But that’s not the most important part.
The key is that English is part of the day. In games, in conversations, in small moments. Children are not pushed to speak. They speak when they feel ready. And because of that, they are not afraid.
🎓 Over time, we see real progress. Our children go on to pass entrance exams to good schools in Moscow and the region. If needed, we also offer individual lessons.
In the end, it’s simple. Children feel comfortable, they improve, and parents can see it.

At Malka Children’s Centre, we make sure the day feels right for the children. We mix active and calm activities, give time to rest, and leave space for free play. What matters to us is not only what a child learns, but how they feel while learning.
📍Our programme follows the child’s age and pace:
🔸 Early Years (1.5–2.5 years)
This is a gentle start. Children slowly get used to activities and being around others.
A parent or familiar adult stays with the child during the session.
🎈We focus on:
- Speech through music, simple theatre and English.
- Movement: fine motor skills, basic gymnastics.
- Sensory play: colours, shapes, textures, simple crafts.
🔸 Toddlers (from 2 years)
A step towards independence. The first “I can do it myself”.
🎈In class:
- First steps in reading: letters, sounds, simple syllables
- Basic maths: counting, shapes, comparing
- Creative work, music, movement
🔸 Full-Day Group (3–7 years)
At this stage, children are ready for more structured learning, but we keep it light and engaging.
- English with a native speaker
- School preparation
- Creative workshops
- Mini football and dance
- Celebrations and family evenings

Malka Children’s Centre wishes you a happy Passover.
🫓 Passover is one of those evenings where children naturally take centre stage. The Seder begins with the Four Questions, asked by the youngest at the table. From that point, the story begins.
Children see things simply. They ask direct questions, sometimes unexpected ones. And that’s what changes the atmosphere. The evening feels more real.
That’s how the connection between generations happens. Not through long explanations, but through these small moments.
🙏 We hope you spend this time with people who matter to you and a home that feels warm and full.
Art lessons at Malka feel like a small journey each time.
This week we looked at Ivan Aivazovsky and his painting Ship in the Stormy Sea (1887). The children then created their own sea scenes. Each one turned out different. Each one tells its own little story. Later, these drawings become something they remember.
Here are a few things we talked about during the class :
🎨 Aivazovsky often painted from memory, not by copying what he saw.
🎨 The light in his work took years to master.
🎨 The scene shows the moment after a storm, when the sea begins to settle.
🎨 The light on the horizon suggests calm after difficulty.
🎨 The real focus is not the ship, but the sea and its mood.
💬 We’d love to hear from you. If your child has a favourite painting or artist, share it in the comments.

At Malka Children’s Center, there is always something going on. Each child finds what feels right for them.
🎨 Some children likes art. They paint, try different materials, and slowly find their own style.
🎭 Others enjoy performing. We run music and sand theater sessions where children act, experiment, and express themselves.
🧪 If a child is curious about how things work, they join our science activities. Simple experiments, first steps in robotics, small discoveries that keep them engaged.
⚽️ Active children move a lot. Football, dance, climbing in the Adventure Park. Every day brings some movement.
🎵 Of couse Music. Children sing, use a microphone, follow rhythm, and try instruments. Some are shy at first and then they open up.
🌎 We also work in a bilingual system. Children hear and use a second language from an early age. It becomes part of their routine.
And this is only part of what happens here.
📍 Visit us for a personal tour. It’s easier to understand the place when you see it yourself.
Drawing gives children something simple but important.
They use their hands, they try things out, they start to see the world in their own way.
What matters most is the process and not the result.
We don’t use just brushes and paint.
Recently, the children made a spring bouquet using cotton swabs and a toothbrush. Of course, It got messy but they were focused. And yes, they were proud of what they made.
In our drawing classes, children
🖼️ look at famous artists and draw inspiration from their works.
🎨 use different materials, sometimes unusual ones.
🌈 express emotions through colour and form.
🖌️ come up with their own ideas and follow them.
take home drawings they care about, and keep some as memories.
Sports at Malka are not just “activities.”
They’re a moment in the day when children move, laugh, sometimes struggle a bit, then try again.
We have two directions : Football and choreography.
⚽️Football is simple. A ball, a team, movement.
Children run, miss passes, try again, shout to each other, celebrate small wins.
They learn fast. Not from theory. From the game itself.
📍 Mondays and Wednesdays
17:00 to 18:00
with « Champion » Sports Club
💃 Choreography is different.
More focus. More control. Music starts, and something shifts.
At first some children hesitate. Then they follow. Then they enjoy it.
📍 Tuesdays and Thursdays
17:00 to 18:00
Our coaches know children. Not only the sport.
They see when to push a little and when to step back.
If you want your child to move, try, and slowly build confidence, this is a good place to start
