High school students are taking over in France—for two weeks now, teenagers have been terrorizing the entire country with mass riots. The streets are filled with violent clashes with the police, burning cars, smashed stores, and utter chaos. The reasons for the students’ uprising include overcrowded classrooms, a shortage of teachers, and expensive tuition. The authorities are ready to negotiate and meet the demands, but the protesters are no longer satisfied with that.

Biologists are on the verge of the most dangerous discovery yet, one that threatens all life on Earth — The Economist. Scientists are close to discovering “mirror life”—microorganisms composed of molecules arranged as a mirror image of ordinary ones. If such life forms emerge, the immune systems of humans, animals, and even plants will be unable to fight them because they won’t recognize these viruses and bacteria. For humans, this could lead to a deadly pandemic, and for nature, it could disrupt food chains and the functioning of ecosystems. This research must be halted immediately, as the consequences could be unpredictable. Join ➡️Human Anatomy | Science 🧬
