Electronic pass, student card, student travel card The first part is here. 🔺ELECTRONIC PASS All freshmen students receive an electronic pass, which provides access to the academic buildings, library, sports complex, and dormitory. The electronic pass also gives access to the Information and Library Complex and IT-services of the University. Information about the student is stored in the barcode of the pass. International students can apply for an electronic pass at the pass office at the address: Academic Building No. 16, Grazhdansky Ave. 28A, 1st floor, office 100. In case of loss of the electronic pass, please contact the pass office at the above-mentioned address. 🔺STUDENT CARD Student ID card is issued by the dean office of your institute. In case you find an error in your student ticket and/or passbook, as well as in case of damage or loss, you should contact the dean office of your institute. 🔺STUDENT TRAVEL CARD (БСК) БСК is a contactless smart card, with the help of which full-time students can use public transportation at preferential rates. ⚡Scientists from Polytechnic University have developed an optimal method of cultivating Chlorella microalgae biomass, which results in a doubling of the chlorophyll and carotenoid content. From the isolated carotenoids, an oil extract can be prepared and added to food as a source of provitamin A or used as a pharmaceutical substance with antioxidant activity. The uniqueness of our method lies in the optimal light regime, as well as in the sequence of stages of extraction of colored pigments synthesized by microalgae. All this allows us to first grow biomass with a high content of pigments, and then carefully extract them. Experts are confident that this method of cultivation can be scaled to industrial production, as well as used in technologies for obtaining carotenoids from another type of plant material.

🚩Where to find the academic group number, login and password The group number will be published in the student's personal account. How to get the login and password for your personal account, read here. During the week the data will be uploaded to the system. As soon as everything will be ready, we will inform you. The number of your academic group will be available at meetings with the institute's directorate.

What is a unified student account and what is it for? 🤩 Access to the University's IT services is provided by login and password of the unified account of SPbPU. The login and password will be sent to the e-mail address you specified when registering in the admission personal account. You can also get them by personal electronic pass at the University's information kiosks. SPbPU has a hotline for international applicants and students for emergencies. !Please note that if you are interested in standard questions (admission tests, tuition fees, dormitory facilities, etc.), you can get answers in chatbot. The #PolySOS channel is for emergency situations, such as: 🔺problems at the airport when arriving in Russia (not allowed at the border, accidentally arrived in the wrong city, etc.) 🔺inquiries from parents when they lose contact with the child who went to study 🔺loss of documents (migration card, passport, registration, etc.) 🔺problems with the dormitory (for some reason they do not move in\unforeseen situation in the room) 🔺overdue deadlines for submitting data for fingerprinting 🔺all other situations that require an urgent solution and involvement of the international services manager.
