What EVERY international student must do: 1. Deadline ⏰ Send your email no later than 7 days before the ceremony. This is a strict deadline for everyone – if you miss it, we simply won't have time to register your guests in the system. 2. What to include in the email 📧 Please provide the following information: — Your full name and contact phone number. — The full name of each guest you are inviting. — A clear photo or scan of the passport (the page with the photo) of each accompanying person. Without this data, we cannot issue a pass – this is a universal requirement for all international students. 3. 📢 ATTENTION: THIS APPLIES TO EVERY INTERNATIONAL STUDENT! Friends! This is an important announcement for all international graduates without exception. Your big day – the graduation ceremony – is coming soon! 🎉 For your family and friends to be able to enter the university, each of you must follow one mandatory rule. It applies to all international citizens, regardless of your country, faculty, or year of study.

Why is this required? This is a university-wide regulation (a new official order). Without completing these steps, not a single international guest will be allowed onto the campus – security works strictly according to the approved lists.

And today, right now, we suggest putting down your phones for a minute, taking your mind off the daily hustle and listen to the story. In this silence, in this moment of silence, to remember those who fought for all that we have. They had to sacrifice their dreams, their love, and often their lives for a future without violence and injustice.

Two degrees, two languages, thousands of lines of code — and we've made it to the finish line! It was a tough but incredibly cool journey. 🎓 Graduation 2026: Diploma Ceremony Dates SPbPU is preparing for its traditional large-scale graduation ceremonies. The highlight for the Class of 2026 will be open-air celebrations in front of the Main Building. Bachelor's and Master's graduates from all institutes will don academic gowns and mortarboards to experience the solemnity of the moment. For two weeks — from June 25 to July 13 — ceremonies will take place in the White Hall. After the official part, all graduates are invited to the square in front of the Main Building.

The outdoor celebration will feature: 🌳 Wishing Tree – make a wish 🔮 Future Booth – get a prediction for the coming year 🎁 Lottery – guaranteed commemorative prizes ✍️ Promise to Yourself – make a personal commitment 🧩 Word Constructor Zone – build a word that fully describes you 🎧 DJ & modern music throughout the day 🛋 Lounge area – sit and chat with friends 📸 Photo zones & photo booth – capture memorable moments

🏗 SPbPU & Xi'an Students Redesign an Industrial Park in China The Institute of Civil Engineering hosted the final presentations of an international project marathon on renovating industrial facilities using Shukhov's structural systems.

Key facts: 🧑‍🎓 40 students from Russia and China 🏭 Project: rethinking Xi'an's "Historical Steel Plant" into a modern public space 🏛 Concepts include: coworking zones, galleries, leisure areas, and open public squares 🌉 Shukhov-inspired lightweight covers and pavilions

🚀 Polytechnic University and RAU to Launch a Joint Nanosatellite A delegation from the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications (IETT), led by Research Director Sergey Makarov, returned from Yerevan with major outcomes.

🤝 Key results: Approved cooperation plans for 2026–2027 under the joint roadmap. The flagship space project: preparing the nanosatellite "Academician V. Ambartsumyan" for launch (developed by students and young researchers from both universities). Students successfully received telemetry from a Polytechnic satellite already in orbit — technical readiness confirmed.

⚡️ Education & research: Seminars on semiconductor physics and FPGA programming (expertise shared by Andrey Rashich). Preparations for the XXVIII All-Russian Conference on Nanoelectronics (November 2026).

📌 All of this is supported by Russia's Ministry of Science and Higher Education as part of a state project to boost Slavic universities and digital economy talent.
