You wear a mask, to hide your fears
A smile for the world, through all your tears
But when will you smile, for yourself alone?
When will you find, your true self, your true home?
You're lost in your thoughts, with no escape
A prisoner of yourself, in this endless ache
You search for a way, to break free from this pain
But it's all in vain, like a rain that refuses to wane
But then I realize, it's not you I see
It's my own reflection, staring back at me
I'm the one who's trapped, in this darkest night
Searching for answers, without a light
It's all about me, my struggles, my strife
I'm the only one, who can change my life
I'm the one who's been, wearing this mask so long
Trying to find myself, and where I belong.
