Drunk driving kills one person every 52 minutes in the US – which is a good reason for Apple to be exploring a Car Key breathalyzer feature, which would refuse to unlock your car if you’re over the legal alcohol limit.
The US Patent & Trademark Office has today published an Apple patent application for this functionality 👍👍

In 2022, Telegram is again among the top 5 most downloaded apps in the world (just like in 2021). Of these top 5 most popular apps, Telegram is the only one that doesn't spend billions on marketing to buy downloads. In a way, we are the only app that is on the list purely because it is genuinely loved by the people❤️🔥

Invisible headphones are as weird and awesome as they sound
1} Looking a little like a mini soundbar, the Noveto N1 is a rather novel audio device that uses beamforming technology to create a binaural audio experience without the need for a pair of headphones – but unlike a soundbar, this audio can only be heard by the user's own ears.
2} It works by transmitting ultrasound silently through the air, which converges into audible pockets just outside of your ears - creating an experience similar to wearing a pair of headphones.

Twitter is testing a CC button for captions on videos
Twitter said on Friday it’s testing a new “CC” button to turn captions on and off on videos with captions available. The feature is rolling out to some users on iOS and will be coming “soon” to Android, the company says.
Earlier this month, Twitter announced that its ALT badge and improved image descriptions are now available globally, making alt text descriptions more prominent for all users. The company also confirmed it’s finally working on a long-requested functionality to edit tweets, which it’s rolling out first to its paying Twitter Blue subscribers. And reverse engineer Jane Manchun Wong found evidence the service is testing a feature to allow users to set a status,

Google Wallet may be making a return
Google seems to be working on bringing Wallet back in some form after it made the app part of Google Pay. According to Mishaal Rahman, the company is creating a Wallet interface for Google Play Services that will act as a way to access and manage your payment and transit cards, passes, rewards memberships, and more.
Google Wallet started as Google’s NFC payment app in 2011, acting as a place for you to store payment cards digitally. Over its life, it evolved as a digital payment service over the years to become sort of a Venmo competitor before it was folded together with Android pay to create Google Pay in 2018. That app has since been totally revamped, turning into much more than an app you use to send friends money and store your digital cards.
If Google is bringing back Wallet as a separate location to manage your cards, it could help focus the Google Pay experience back towards paying at stores and sending friends money.

Instagram Posts Can Look Sponsored
Instagram announced on Monday that anyone—verified influencer or otherwise—can tag brands and products in their posts. Now we're giving access to everyone to inspire those closest to them by enabling product tagging in posts. From supporting brands you love to helping your friends and family discover new products they may like, sharing products on Instagram just got easier.
When creating a post, use the tagging feature to tag a brand then specify a product. When someone taps on your product tag on your published Feed post, they’ll be able to get detailed information about the product through a product detail page on Instagram and then can purchase the product directly in app or through the brand’s product detail page. ⚡️Microsoft announces new Windows 11 security features for 2022
The Microsoft Defender SmartScreen solution will offer improved phishing detection that will alert users when they enter their Microsoft credentials into a malicious app or site.
While anti-phishing protection was previously offered only for browsers, now Microsoft is bringing it to the operating system level for the first time. This means that every single application will now be protected.
This feature will also allow Microsoft to notify a user's security team when they are the victim of a successful phishing attack.👍

Twitter’s upcoming edit feature may keep track of tweet history
Editing a tweet using Twitter’s upcoming edit button could leave a digital trace of your tweet’s history, according to reverse engineer Jane Manchun Wong. In a tweet, Manchun Wong explains that the edit function appears to have an “immutable” quality, which means Twitter may create an entirely new tweet when one is edited, all while preserving the previous versions of that tweet.
Selecting the button leads you to a screen that looks much like the regular tweet composer, only it’s pre-filled with your tweet's text and says “Update” in the bottom right corner instead of “Tweet.” Paluzzi’s screenshots don't show an option to view a tweet’s edit history, however.
Twitter first announced that it’s working on the coveted edit button earlier this month, after seemingly joking about the feature on April Fool’s Day.Then officially announced
