Whenever I'm told about based and racist AIs telling Google blacks look like gorillas or how Amazon should hire exclusively White engineers, I am reminded of sayings of the desert fathers, it was St. Antony the Great, monks came to him about troubling dreams and visions they'd been having. A donkey died on the way and St. Antony asked them how the donkey died. They were shocked and asked how he knew. He told them the demons showed him, they did that sometimes to make him think they were powerful or to flatter him. This is how I feel about AI being "based" because it says correct things sometimes. I still plan on breaking your demon portal with a sledge hammer.
