A Mich 2002, which is one of the better designed full covered helmets (still supporting comms), is still literally only NIJIIIA. In fact so does the fucking ACH So does the Mich 2000 And the PASGT. Unless you BUY SPECIFIC (like an Opscore XR) The ballistic advantage is nominal, if not totally fucking irrelevant to having solid and comfortable communications. You are literally dancing around a few millimeters between the neck and the ear if its an artillery hit. This is a stupid argument. Full coverage helmets are bulky, none of them have good suspension systems, the mounting system for night vision are poorly balanced, it never fits correctly. Its gay and retarded like this poster.
