🚗 Hey, Musk! Wanna Buy a Hyundai Car? // This year, the South Korean carmakers presented two new EVs — the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Kia EV6. The two models quickly climbed to the top of US EV sales. Hyundai and Kia sold 21,467 of these two machines, besting even the Ford Mustang Mach-E, which was snapped up by 15,718 drivers. Tesla still sells far more cars, but it took the company a decade to deliver as many electric vehicles as Hyundai and Kia have managed in a few short months. Being quite impressed by such a success, Musk twitted "Hyundai is doing pretty well". The Ioniq 5 and EV6 both offer the cargo space of a small SUV, favoured by US customers. 🌝 Israel Invests in Climatech // The Israeli government approved a comprehensive program estimated at approximately $880 million to promote technological innovation in the field of climate change. The programme includes doubling the number of start-up companies engaged in climate-tech from 55 companies in 2021 to 110 companies by 2026 as well as establishing 10 Israeli venture capital funds that specialize in climate technologies by the same year. In the concluding report authored by the Israeli Energy Minister, Environmental Protection Minister and the Innovation Minister, they stated that Israel is not realizing its full potential in the field of climatech due to market failures.
