The protocol will become the Institution to Institution settlement mechanism, using the IBM MQ client to ride on the rails of STELLAR. We study, and we understand, but the truth is highlighted in the last sentence. "Customers of financial institutions do not need to know anything about Ripple or its protocol." The rest of the world will carry on like usual.

IBM provides high performance orchestration to transfer payments. Each payment is immutable once recorded, and settlement instructions are provided via smart contracts on Hyperledger Fabric. Initially, Stellar will provide the network to facilitate the settlement of transactions cleared on Hyperledger.

IBM buys Promontory. Promontory to utilize Watson Cognitive Platform for regulation and risk management. IBM plan to create a new subsidiary through this deal called Watson Financial Services, which will “build cognitive tools for things like tracking regulatory obligations, and anti-money laundering detection systems.”

So in summary, in order to use FedNow you have to integrate with IBM MQ. Lol You can literally say that FedNow needs IBM/Stellar.

“Your financial institution will need to buy or build a payment application that interfaces with an IBM MQ client” 🙃

People who are chasing the bag without peeling back the layers are going to get smacked. If you don’t do the research, you wouldn’t be able to see that the underlying mechanisms and infrastructure is IBM/Stellar. True utility is the what this is all about. Any token can be used as the payment solution now that the foundation is set. That’s the beauty of the underlying mechanism setting up a level playing field :)

IBM = 16,000 banks >> Swift = 11,000 banks

But in all honesty, its just a KICK ASS team behind the scenes that run off each others ideas and thoughts to hash out answers. I thought you guys might enjoy a little section of us throwing around some info. ..
