Hello CA Final Students !!! All the very best for your Final IBS exam. Just before you head for your exams, here are a few important tips from our side: 1. Utilise 15 mins reading time effectively. Start by reading the descriptive questions and identify 20-25 marks of questions which you will be attempting first. In case any case study is repeated attempt it at very first. 2. No need to write section no, notification no, circular no or case law name. But do quote SA number and Ind AS number wherever required. 3. Write your answers in small para points, where each para shall not exceed 4-5 lines. After this leave a line and then start with the next answer. Also, give a proper conclusion to your answer at the last. 4. In IBS, MCQs are the game changer. They account for 40 marks and are very scoring. Each MCQ has 2 marks and you can easily get 30-36 marks in this. 5. For each case study, allocate 1 hr. Try to complete each one in the allocated time. First attempt the descriptive questions and then go for MCQs. 6. Try to attempt for maximum marks. If you don’t know a few answers or are unable to recall the concept, attempt it at the last and answer to the best you know. ALL THE BEST FOR YOUR EXAMS !!!

In DT exam, you will generally see a lot of new questions, so don’t panic. Have confidence on your concepts. 5. Hello CA Final Students !!! All the very best for your AFM exam. Just before you head for your exams, here are a few important tips from our side: 1. Utilise 15 mins reading time effectively. Start by reading the descriptive questions and identify 25-30 marks of questions which you will be attempting first. 2. The practical answers for AFM are a bit short, so try to save your time by attempting maximum practical questions. Nevertheless, you will still be required to attempt 12 marks of theory questions. 3. For rounding off of answers, follow 2 decimal rule for amounts and 3 decimal rule for PV factors or exchanges rates, unless otherwise stated in the question. If PV factors are given in the question, use these only. For exchange rates, round off to the decimal places as exchange rates given in the question. 4. Don’t panic if you see a few new questions. There are always 25-30 marks of repeated questions, first attempt those. 5. Break the 3 hrs exams into manageable slots of 1 hr each and set a target of 30-35 marks in every slot.
