Dear Applicants, As previously announced, the application period for admission to graduate programs for the 2026/27 (2019 E.C.) academic year, first semester, including Master’s programs (Regular and Extension) and PhD programs, was scheduled to close on September 17, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. However, due to technical issues, some applicants were unable to generate their GAT results and, consequently, were unable to complete the registration process. We are pleased to inform you that applicants can now generate their digital GAT certificates through the following portal: https://portal.aau.edu.et/Web/ApplyForAdmission/TestingStatus Applicants who were affected by the technical issues can complete their graduate program application on September 18, 2026, until 5:30 p.m. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced and appreciate your patience and understanding. Attention AAU UAT Applicants! 🚨 There has been confusion regarding the test center location listed as CHS (College of Health Sciences) for the upcoming Undergraduate Admission Test (UAT). Please note that CHS is located at Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital Campus (around Biherawi / Black Lion Hospital). 📍 Official Exam Location: Tikur Anbessa Campus (College of Health Sciences) Please verify your exact venue, plan your route in advance, and make sure to arrive at the Tikur Anbessa site on time. Dear UAT Test Takers, Please note that test takers who selected examination sites outside AAU will take the UAT on Monday, September 7, 2026, during Session II (11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.). The examination venues for the following sites are: a)      Ambo University: Hachalu Hundessa Campus b)      Bahir Dar University: Peda Campus c)       Jimma University: Main Campus – CISCO Building and CISCO Lab d)      Debre Markos University: Main Campus – Building 621 and Building 22 e)      Jijiga University: CB20, Computer Lab 1 (CB20-R1) The examination venues for the remaining sites will be announced shortly.
