QBITTORRENT SETUP STEP 1 1. Enable Search a. Check the checkbox "View -> Search" b. Click the "Search" tab c. Click the "Search plugins..." button d. Click the "Check for Updates" button, and the search site plugins will automatically be added. See the video for a visual tutorial on enabling and using Search in qBittorrent. Note: You can sort results by number of seeders to bring the active torrents to the top.

. You can get most music and movies through Bittorrents. Here's how you set up qBittorrent for search, and how to set it up to keep yourself off of your ISP's radar. I have been using these settings for almost 20 years without a VPN, and have never received a cease and desist notice from any ISP. Most tutorials recommend you use a VPN, but you can try these settings, and if your ISP leaves you alone, no need to pay for a VPN. If you get the letter, then you can get a VPN. . Nick makes some good points in his latest 👉 video on privacy. Here is the breakdown: - Security is NOT the same thing as privacy - Telemetry is not always bad, and can be good for helping open source developers make better products - Tor is most likely not a honeypot for 3-letter agencies, but who really knows. Tor is not 100% safe - Big companies are not necessarily more secure. - Incognito mode does not make you private online. It only limits data and traces of activity stored locally on your machine. - A VPN is not a magical thing that makes you anonymous online. It changes your IP address and makes it you harder to track, but The VPN knows who you are. - The statement "Privacy is Dead" is a lie that portrays a lack of motivation. Always try to be as privatge as possible. - "I have nothing to hide" is a completely bogus statement. . The web-site for YouTube-DL, a popular command-line tool for downloading YouTube videos, i snow being blocked due to a Germany court ruling. The current stable version of YouTube-DL (2021.12.17) does not work anyways, but the nightly builds do, if you know how to grab and install those. Becasue of all the RIAA legal drama causing issues with youtube-dl, many people have now switched to yt-dlp. The version of yt-dlp from your distro's repository most likely does not work, so you may need to grab 👉 the latest directly from GitHub, and execute it directly from the directory you downloaded yt-dlp to. . Finally there is an image and video search option other than MS Bing and Google Images. Brave Search (search.brave.com) introduced their own image and video search results yesterday. Mozilla ousted their own CEO Brendan Eich back in 2018 because of his conservative views and activism, so he moved on to become the CEO Brave Software. The ousting of Brendan appears to have backfired on the cultural Marxist extremists running the Democrat Party. . You will want to be running a full device VPN if you use Kodi to stream Bittorrents. How this is accomplished depends on which VPN service you subscribe to. . On order to get the Elementum add-on installed, you must first download and install the Elementum repository. Download the Elementum Repository 1. Grab the file for your device from the 👉 Elementum web page. . By default, Kodi disables the ability to install anything from 3rd parties. You will need to install the Elementum 3rd party repository into Kodi, so you need to enable "Unknown Sources" in Kodi Settings. To Enable Unknown Sources: 1. Open Kodi (Hint: Kodi opens full screen, so it is convenient to open it on another desktop, and switch back-&-forth between desktops. Ctrl+Alt+ArrowUp zooms out to all desktops on the Cinnamon desktop) 2. . Open Snitch is not available in any of the repositories right now, so you must install it through other means. This means once it is installed, it will not be updated. You will have to download and install updates MS Windows style 😟until it becomes available in a repository. The easiest way to currently install Open Snitch is to grab the .deb packages for Debian based distros, (Ubuntu, Mint, Pop OS, etc) You must grab both the daemon and the GUI ".deb" files. Once downloaded, you can double-click them in a file browser, which will launch the .deb files in the software center. 1. It is built as an extension for LNbits. It is for both merchants, and individuals looking to sell anything and everything. Nostr Market is based on the Nostr protocol, which means there no central servers or controlling authority. It doesn't even use DNS servers.
