MEET THE PARTICIPANTS OF MEMORYLAB “BETWEEN MEMORY AND STONE” We are happy to welcome 15 participants from Ukraine, Poland, and Germany, selected by the MemoryLab jury to join us in Berlin. From 21 to 26 September, they will spend an intensive week exploring memory, difficult heritage, public history, and the Soviet legacy through seminars, lectures, workshops, discussions, and curatorial sessions. 6	+5 DAS ZIEL ÜBERTROFFEN: Wir haben 21.970 Euro für einen Evakuierungsbus gesammelt. russische Drohnenpiloten jagen gezielt Zivilist*innen. Dieses Vorgehen wird als „Human Safari“ bezeichnet. Auch der letzte Evakuierungsbus unserer Partner wurde durch eine russische Drohne zerstört. Deshalb haben wir gemeinsam Geld für ein neues Fahrzeug gesammelt. Denn die Evakuierungen müssen weitergehen. Der neue gepanzerte Bus ist bereits in Cherson. Dort wird er unsere Partnerorganisation Strong Because Free bei weiteren Evakuierungen unterstützen. Vielen Dank an Bravery e.V., die dies möglich gemacht haben. Und ein riesiges Dankeschön an unsere großartige Community, die den benötigten Betrag zusammengebracht und damit geholfen hat, weitere Evakuierungen zu ermöglichen. 9	+9 Nach dem Marsch kamen wir am Pariser Platz zusammen – für gemeinsame Worte und einen Moment, der besonders in Erinnerung bleibt: die ukrainische Nationalhymne 🇺🇦 Diese Worte zu singen, während die Ukraine jeden Tag um ihre Freiheit und Unabhängigkeit kämpft, hat eine besondere Kraft. Sie erinnern uns daran, wofür wir stehen – und wofür so viele Menschen heute kämpfen. Unser herzlicher Dank an die wunderbare Ganna Gryniva für die berührende Darbietung der ukrainischen Nationalhymne. 11	+9 So viele von euch waren gestern mit uns auf Berlins Straßen 💙💛 Tausende Menschen, eine Stimme, ein gemeinsames Ziel. Gestern haben wir wieder gesehen, was möglich ist, wenn wir zusammenkommen. Unsere Stärke liegt in den Menschen – in jeder Person, die mitläuft, sichtbar bleibt und ihre Stimme erhebt. Diese Energie, diese Solidarität und diesen Zusammenhalt müssen wir bewahren. Denn stellt euch vor, was wir gemeinsam erreichen können, wenn wir weiterhin so geschlossen zusammenstehen. Danke an alle, die gestern dabei waren. Ihr seid unsere gemeinsame Stärke.
